I simply love the Hot Dog Shoppe. I've never been to any other city that has hot dogs and fries as good as the Hot Dog Shoppe. The food is sooo cheap that I am able to get something to eat any day no matter how broke I am that week.
Odd enough I don't eat hot dogs any other way, I won't eat them if anyone makes them. If they're not from the Hot Dog Shoppe, I simply won't eat them.
In my opinion Brother's Pizza has the best Pizza, spaghetti, subs, stuffed shells. All of their food is tasty and affordable. I order there so much they usually tell me what I'm going to order. All of the employees there are really nice too.
I agree with the above person, no matter how full or empty it is in the ER at Trumbull you are almost always guaranteed atleast an hour wait. Then once they take you back to a room you're guaranteed probably atleast another hour wait before an actual doctor comes to see you. I've had bad experiences with the ER there on a few occasions. One time I went with my friend and the doctor completely violated her privacy by practically announcing to everyone within hearing range that she was pregnant (she did not know until then). On another occasion I went with my boyfriend, the nurse came in and asked him questions. The doctor told him to open his mouth and say "Ah" and then the doctor left and came back with a prescription for Tylenol 3, which he should've been given an antibiotic with the symptoms he had told the doctor. He was also misdiagnosed. The doctor told him he just had a sore throat and he really had mono! After that little amount of time, I'd say at most the doctor seen him for literally 2 minutes, he sent my boyfriend a bill for $475. Riiiiight.
*edit* Recently my mother went to the ER with pneumonia and guess what they gave her ??? That's right Tylenol 3 with Codeine... what is wrong with these people haven't they heard that ANTIBIOTICS is the answer!!
I'm kind of neutral on my feelings towards this restaurant at the moment. Once I went there and I had a good experience, but the last time I went there was an awful experience. All I know is, I wouldn't recommend the beer batter fish. I've had beer batter fish before and I know it's going to be semi-greasy because it's deep fried but when I ordered it, it tasted like 1) the oil had not been changed all day or 2) that fish was in an oil spill in the ocean somewhere and fried up and brought to the table. After asking to have it replaced, not only did the manager NOT come out to speak to me herself. They wouldn't replace my order and offered me a coupon for a free appetizer as if that was supposed to make up for the fact that my dinner was ruined.
I absolutely love this place! It's a good hour and a half away from me but it's definitely worth the drive! The portions of food you get are very generous and for being a more upscale restaurant the prices aren't so bad. Word of advice if you're going to dine here.. take left overs from dinner out in "doggie bags" because you have to save room for 1 slice out of the 34 varieties of cheesecake and they are every flavor imaginable!
CONS: The long waits and no reservations!
I love getting the bucket of crab legs from this place. For the most part I've had pleasant experiences here, nothing I'd really complain about. It is a bit pricy, but it's true what they say, "you get what you pay for"
In my opinion Cellular One offers the best plan ($50/ month for UNLIMITED ANYTIME minutes) You can't beat that. Plus I've never had reception problems with my phone, it would always work no matter where I was.
I only went in there once and that was for a homecoming dress and I have to tell you... I will NEVER visit that place again in my life. The sales consultants were very stuck up and snuffed me off with their noses up in the air. I just can't figure out why a place would sell lots of plus sized dresses and then act very rude towards someone that needs one. I was so angry how they treated me because of my size that I wanted to just walk out of there without buying my homecoming dress even though it was the perfect dress. The employees there are the rudest people I have ever met in my entire life!!!! I wouldn't even give them 1 star but since there's nothing lower...
Save-a-lot really does live up to it's name. I save so much when I shop there. I'm able to get groceries for a family of four for 2 weeks for around $60-70. I was skeptical at first, one of those people that would never shp anywhere besides my well known Giant Eagle. Well after shopping at Save-A-Lot once, I adopted it as my regular grocery store. They do have alot of brand name things for unbelievably cheap prices.
I had to take my car back to this place 3 times before they fixed what they were supposed to originally fix in the first place. Not to mention just because I was a female they thought they were going to try and scam me and charge me extra for this and that and treat me like I didn't know a thing or two about cars. I will never trust this place ever again and I've advised everyone I know not to go there. Definitely not a female friendly atmosphere
