Dr. Murphy takes the time to know his patients and let his patients know his practice and staff. He will take all the time you need to answer any questions you may have. He is thorough and specializes in high risk pregnancies.
Saint Mary's Hospital is the best place to have a baby in Grand Rapids. The staff takes great care of you, the hospital is clean, your baby is always close to you, and the rooms are comfortable.
Noel offers old fashioned family style dinners. The restaurant is charmingly decorated in Christmas decor. Everything here is homemade from scratch - just like grandma would have made it, so it is always good. The desserts are spectacular. You don't get food this "homemade" anywhere.
Leo's offers the most amazingly fresh seafood Grand Rapids has to offer. The chefs come up with great seafood dishes that are sure to please any palate. The desserts are homemade daily from a pastry chef too.
Maggies is not very fancy, but the food speaks for itself. It is authentic and flavorful, and the best Mexican Food Grand Rapids has to offer. The combo plates are a great choice. Be prepared to stand in line at lunch, although the line moves quickly.
Jersey Giant rocks! These are the freshest, tastiest, biggest subs you can get. I can only eat 1/2 a sub on a very hungry day. Meat and cheese are cut fresh while you wait! The bread is yummy and the herbs are a wonderful topper.
The Honey Creek Inn is a great burger and beer place as well as more "eclectic" menu items. The atmosphere is cozy and warm and they have many beers on tap. The food is always excellent, no matter what you order.
I have been taking our dog here for 7 years. Dr. Coll and her staff are very caring and knowledgable when it comes to pets. My dog gets great care, and is always warmly welcomed.
I get great haircuts here, and my kids do too. They are kids friendly, and easy to get appointment times. The staff is always curteous and professional - but the downside is, that once your stylist advances, their prices keep rising. You can start with someone at $25 and a year later you are paying $39.
PROS: Easy to get appointments
CONS: Prices continually increase
