The Lettuce Entertain You Entertainment restaurant organization is phenomenal. They have a membership that allows someone to earn points based on the restaurants they eat at. Some restaurants include Maggiano?s, Joe?s Seafood, Caf Ba-Ba-Reeba, Tru and many, many others; all of which are five-start places. I eat out so much as it is, that it is nice to get some money back for it!
This place is a nice ?away from France? French restaurant. It is clearly a Vegas original, but worth every penny. Nice wine list and great desserts (Crme Brulee is fierce). I came here for a wedding and now I recommend it to all who travel to Vegas. Another great fact: it is a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant, which means if you?re a member, another great way to earn points!
This is by far the best place to eat in Chicago!!! They have a wine list that is extensive and broad as well as a great bar. The menu can be pricy, but well-worth every penny. I would recommend the Bone-In Filet Mignon with a side of Lianaise Potatoes. I bring first dates, colleagues, out of town guests and family here, especially when I want to impress them. The atmosphere is done well with comfortable Oak paneling; very sophisticated.
Their master brew master is award winning and you can taste it. From their traditional brews to the monthly specials, I recommend trying their ?flight? of beers. The ribs are tender and a great compliment to the beer!
Papagus is an excellent Greek style restaurant in suburban Oak Brook (of Chicago). The menu is consistent with Greek American food and the prices are well maintained. The atmosphere is that one would expect from a place like this, well decorated and cozy feeling. They have a great selection of Greek wines also!
Chicago Reptile House has a huge selection of everything from Geckos to Pythons and Tarantulas to Crickets, but their prices are astounding. To give you an example, I believe they charge about fifteen cents a piece for crickets, where at like Petsmart, they cost eight cents each. If you?re looking for something specific, this place is worth the drive, but if you need the basics, don?t waste your time here.
Devono?s has been around since my childhood (15 years ago) in the Chicago suburbs of Orland Park. We have eaten there many times through the years, but every time they make me realize why I love it. The atmosphere is quaint and comfortable; the food is very well crafted and consistent. My favorite is their Lemon Chicken. I would recommend this to any person in the Orland Park area for dinner!
This family owner and operated deli serves a wonderful menu or fresh deli stylle sandwishes and food. They have a regular constant menu and also create new dishes that vary from month to month, so this is ice because you can try ifferent and new creationg ona regular basis.
Hannah's Bretzel is a one in a million. Though they claim to have been around since the 1400s, I doubt it. Regardless of their age, the created some of the most unique and great tasting foods. Their home made pretzels and pretzel bread is outstanding. Not to mention they regularly sell like 50 brands of chocolate from across the world!
I've been here a few times, or I should say my dogs have and love it. Always coming home clean and relaxed (meaning they got a good work out in while staying here), so when I get back from my vacation, the dogs and I both are ready for a nap. Will keep recommending this doggy resort!
