Star's Beads
In the rare occasion when I needed beads for a project I stopped in here. I never realized beads stores existed so I was shocked to see what this store had to offer. They have a wide supply of all kinds of beads. The store has a great vibe, it is so laid back and friendly.
Hole In The Wall Books
This is another great bookstore in Virginia. They mainly feature used books. The store smells a little musty and makes me sneeze often but it is worth it because they have some great books that are harder to find. I never buy newer books here but when Im looking for something unique Im willing to stop by here and peruse their selection.
Cantos Booksellers
This store is very different from a Border or Barnes and Nobles. The store specializes in older books that are sometimes more difficult to find. This store has some nice items that are tough to come by without placing a special order. My favorite attribute of this store is the employees. These people are great and really know what they are doing.
Solar Planet
This is a very modern tanning salon in the Pentagon Row. This store is easily accessible by the metro and by car. I was impressed with facilities here but the prices are so expensive here. Ill never go back again. They have a weird points system that tries encourages people to come back here. I only wanted a quick tan so was a little upset with the price I paid because I only wanted a one-time visit.
Pacers
This store is a runners paradise. They have everything from sneakers to shorts to water bottles all specifically customized for runners. I love this store because the staff is all very knowledgeable. I think the prices here are comparable with other running stores in the area. They also have similar services and products so they dont stand out from the pack.
State Farm Insurance
I currently get my renters and care insurance with this agency. I have shopped around before purchasing these insurance items and found this agency has some of the better deals in the area. My agent is a great guy and I really trust him. I feel comfortable having such a great agent taking care of my needs.
Celadon Spa
This store does everything. They sell products and provide services for both men and women. I only have come here for their waxing but they also style hair, do nail work and have skin care services. They do a wonderful job with my waxing. If you are in need of grooming products they also have a wide supply always on hand.
Marvelous Market
This is a nice little store located in Chinatown. I used to frequent this store when I worked in the area. When I didnt have time to go out for lunch I would come here. They have a nice variety of very good prepared food items. They have wonderful sandwiches and soups.
VIP Custom Tailoring
This is a family run shop. My boyfriend always takes his new pant and suit jackets here to be tailored. They have a very professional staff that really takes care of their customers. The final products always turn out to perfection. If you are looking for a quality experience from beginning to end you should give them a chance.
Coup De Foudre Lingerie
When Im looking to purchase lingerie this is my favorite store in the area. The store is very tasteful and has some very cutting edge and unique lingerie. The prices are a little high but the staff is very helpful. My boyfriend always loves my purchases here. You should give it a try if you are looking for anything that is tasteful to revealing.
