CONS: can be crowded
Now this is a place that cares about animals. Not only do they have a great clean shelter but a low-cost clinic for lower income people. What a marvelous idea! The vets there are compassionate and wonderful! The shelter animals are well loved. I can't say enough good things about this place. If you are looking for a shelter or a charity to donate to this is the place! They are not only saving animals in thier shelter but helping save them by making sure they aren't given to shelters because of expensive medical problems. BRAVO!
PROS: true animal lovers, clean, wonderful
CONS: can't think of any
I brought my senior cat and dog here because it was recomended to me. They wound up doing MANY unnecessary things to my poor pets. My cat whom at the time was 13 they insisted they had to anesitize to examine despite the fact that my cat had never had that happen at any other vet. I did thier senior check ups and then got my dog a dental and mass removal. I got an estimate prior by mouth from the receptionist (I should have known betteer and insisted on a printed one) and the bill was way more then I was told. My cat wound up VERY ill after being put under for his exam and then I wound up spending more money for them to "observe" him because of his reaction to thier decsion. I wound up getting a biopsy on my then 14 year old, whch I was latter told by another vet was not warrented. When I went to pick up my dog after the biopsy and dental only to find out the bill was so much higher they were unwilling to work out any payment plan despite the fact I had allready spend $600 there in the past month. All in total I spent $1,000 for the annual check-ups and one dental where as I nomally spend $500 and my animals are not sick afterwards. The vet I saw didn't strike me as compaainotae at all. I felt like the whole place was just about money and not animals.
PROS: great office hours
CONS: see above
