Real Icecream

Though its primarily an ice cream store, they also sell fast indian food. I like their pav bhaji, they used to be famous for it in the valley a few years ago until a lot of other chat places opened up.

Ice cream flavors are yummy. love their gulkand flavor.

Burger King

Nothing special to write for Burger king. Food is average. the onion rings are good (fatty, but isnt everything they sell fatty). Fries are bad. The vegi burger needs help.

Mc Donald's

What do you write about a McDonalds? The food is average, fries could be better. For vegetarians, the veggi burger has nothing much mayo in it. Ever since we heard that they add some beef flavorings in the oil in which they fry the fries, we have not been back here.

Six Flags Marine World

We have been here a few times. My kid loves going here but she is also disappointed that she cant go on most rides coz she is not tall enough or not big enough. wish they had more rides for preschoolers.
The rollercoasters are awesome. My hubby loves them.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

This is the best aquarium I have ever been too. The exibits are very well labelled and the staff is always friedly and ready to asnwer questions from both kids and adults.
The gift shop has something in each price range.
The food is not bad either.
We love to go here. Most big companies in the valley offer discount tickets thru out the year to the Aquarium.

Bed Bath & Beyond

I like their selection of Housewares and appliances. If you manage to get ahold of their 20% coupon (they come in the mail to me), you can get a really good deal. Even without the coupon, their prices are not bad. I liked their rug selection the last time I went there.

Disney Store

My 5 yr old loves this place. This is THE place to go to for pretend princess clothes (disney charaters). My daughter absolutely loives it here. Though stuff is expensive its better than buying them at the disney amusement parks.

Ymca

Though we are not members of the Y, we have been taking swimming lessons and other exercise classes here and we have always had a very good time there. both my daughter and I learnt swimming at the Y. We both had lots of fun. Staff is very friendly, both at the front desk and the instructors.

The Picture People

I have taken my child here many times for pictures. Some of the pictures they took were really good but some of them didnt turn out all that good. The provide some really good coupons in the newapapers and some other good deals via mail.

City Of Mountain View Library

This library is huge and has lots and lots of books in each section. The staff is friendly and courteous. I love the kids section. Their collection is wide and there is lots of room for children to sit down and curl with a book.
