I take my HOnda to this location for maintenance and service. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I dontk now much abot cars and how they work, so the staff really explain all tthe woek that needs to be done very clearly. And I dont think they are rippng me off coz I dont know much about cars.
Oil change and maintenance reminders come in the mail. Thats really helpful for me.
I like their gardening section very much. They have fresh plants that grow well even though I have really brown thumbs. :-). Also like their houseware section, lots of variety and prices are not bad.
We love going to this library for the childrens story time. They have free puppet shows and music performances throughout the year. My child loves it here. The big comfy couch in the childrens section is a real nice touch.
They opened this library at the new building a couple years ago. Very modern and very big. Staff is a little clueless about what goes where. But I like their collection of Indian movies. They have a ton of Tamil and hindi tapes and DVDs.
My child loves to go to this library. The selection of books, special interest media, DVD movies is great and you can always reserve material thst is not currently available in the library and pick it up when it is available for a small fee.
I have taken my daughter to Gymkids and to the preshcool (Bright beginnings) a few years ago. She loved the Gymkids class. Outr teacher was Cindy H and Susan M. Both are really good with the kids. The classes are offered on a quarter system and they fill up real fast.
The preschool attached to the ACE is Bright Beginnings. Except for Susan M, all the other teachers are really bad. I have tried every one of them, believe me. Susan usually has a very full class and a very long wait list to get into her class (understandably).
PROS: Gymkids is great
CONS: Bright Beginnings was not a good experience for us.
Huge store with lots of variety in sports wear, equpment, shoes etc. They have some pretty good sales too. Last time, I went past the store, I saw a sign that said they had merged with snother company. Dont remeber that name of the other company now.
I like their free weights. We have been buying those on a regular basis from this store.
This Big 5 location used to have more stuff a few years ago. Now, everything they have on sale is old and some of the shoes are actually torn and missing laces etc. I did buy some exercise equipment on sale from them a few months ago.
I love the RadioShack on Sunnyvale-Saratoga road in Sunnyvale. The man behind the counter is very friendly and I love their electronic kits. We have bought atleast 3 of them form Radioshack. Great experiment apparatus and also very very educational for kids and adults.
We had vivited St.Supery with my cousins who wanted to do wine tasting. Since I dont drink, I was not very keen but I had a lot of fun at St.Supery. There is lot of stuff to read and enjoy other than the wine.
