I love their hot subs. Dont remeber the name of the one I had last time but it was the one with avacados in it. It was very tasty. It is a great place to go to get a quick bite.
My daughter loves to go here. She was really scared of rides till she started going to Happy Hallow. The rides are really very kid friendly and non-threatening. The hall of mirrors and the train ride are all time favorites for my kid.
The animals are a nice addition.
My kid loves their pizza. I love their salad bar and also their thin crust pizza. We always call in our order before we go in and pick up our order. This takes the least amount of time. People behind the counter are friendly and helpful. People who asnwer the phones are also very cordial.
Though this is one of the many many chinese take outs in the area, I really like it. Its not very oily and their veggi fried rice and chow mein are excellent. Though their spring rolls are calorie bombs, they taste great. No msg and they cater for parties too. They have 2 item, 3 item combos for eat-in and take out. I like their sizlling rice soup and their spinach tofu soup. Very healthy and very delicious. I would highly recommend this place.
Though I have been to the Mt.View downtown numerous times, the first time I went into this book store was only a couple months ago. I really liked the ambience, it has a nice cozy feel to it. I liked the area where there have a water fountain in the store. It is so peaceful to sit there and listen to the water falling. Liked this place very much. Collection of books is also exotic.
We have been trading our old books for a money account at this store for a while. You can buy books with the money you have in your account. So, you are not really spening anything out of your pocket. Their collction of books in every category is extensive. The kids section is really very very extensive. Their collection of DVD's and Videos is also very good. It 's to be able to own a movie without burning a hole in your pocket. They have a lots of the classics too.
PROS: Large store, lots of books
They have a wide variety of breakfast cereals, drinks, dairy products. I love the pizza dough that they sell. You can bring the dough home and then bake your own pizza. Very inexpensive too. I think its about a $1.20 per bag. You can make a 8" pizza with that dough. My kid loves to help me make the pizza.
Produce is always fresh. I also like their organic soups that come s in tetra paks. They are very yummy and healthu too.
I have seen rats running around in the area that they store produce and other groceries. I was disgusted when I saw rats. Never went back to this store again.
Very bad quality groceries. May be cheaper then other groceries stores in the area but you are compromising on quality. Lentils are old and so is their stock of rice. Vegies and Fruits, the less said the better. UGH!
The produce is always fresh. Premises are clean, service is efficient. Very organized, well planned and in all, best grocery store in the Sunnyvale Area. Its crowded but the people at the counter are very fast when they ring up customers.
To help matters, its conviniently located next door to about 3 different indian eateries, you can eat and shop in the same area.
PROS: Fresh Produce, convenient location
