West Gate Regional Library
THis is a really nice library for the community. It has a nice variety of kids books and a fairly decent adult selection too. This library is geared toward the community and kids and not really research work. Overall it is a great place to take the family.
Delphi Center Incorporated
Delphi is a really great midwife service and birthing center. The midwife I met was super nice and helpful and the center is really clean and makes you feel right at home. This center also offers in home birthing services incase you want to have a home birth.
Granada Apartments
These apartments are in the process of being turned into condo's. They are located on 56th street and E. Sligh. The units themselves are really roomy and big. The living room is absolutely huge in the 2 bedroom models. Some of the units had washer and dryer and some didnt.
Royal Park Apartments
These apartments used to be called society park but very little else has changed. On the plus side the units are pretty big and roomy. On the down side the complex isnt fancy and the neighborhood isnt the best plus the units dont have washer and dryer connections.
Terrace Trace Apartments
These apartments are kinda like little duplex's and the setting is very park like. There area all kinds of really big trees and the neighborhood seems good. The units are huge but they are nice and offer 1 and 2 bedroom models. The location is also close to 75 and I-4 and 301.
Providence Place Apartments
When I looked at these apartments I thought they were nice but the neighbors told me otherwise. I guess even though the apartments floorplans are nice the neighborhood is somewhat lacking. They did offer some really good move in specials but it kinda makes you wonder why they were offering specials like that.
Hughes Teena Md
If you are looking for a good general pediatrician the Teena Hughes is the best. All of my friends have changed to use her for their doctor. She is a very educated and informative. You also will get in and out in a hurry and not wait all day to see the doctor.
Sawgrass Cove Apartments
Sawgrass Cove Apartments are a very well maintained community between cortez and 53rd ave.The units arent new but the up keep has been very good on them. In the 2 bedrooms the plan is kinda a split plan and the Lanai's are very spacious and roomy. They also have lots of cute little lakes for a nice view.
Carriage House Antiques
This is my favorite antique shop ever. The staff is so nice and friendly and the shop is really well kept and neat. They get all kinds of unique pieces that are usually in perfect condition. I especially like the selection of estate jewerly that they have. The prices also will keep you comming back.
Preserver At Manate Bay
I had lots of friends who lived in carriage club apartments and I really love the layout and the floorplans of these apartments. They offer really nice split floorplans in their 2 bedroom 2 bath units. The units offer nice lania's and even fireplaces in some units. The location is also really nice.
