I found Jim's on this site. I called them and they have always been prompt and courteous. I am really surprised to hear that anyone had issues with them. They have been out here 5 or 6 times. They always get the job done and give me a fair price.
Waited 25 minutes for my coffee. Waited another 15 minutes to be served the wrong food. When they put sauce on something I asked for without sauce, they took it back to the kitchen, waited ten minutes and then brought it back with the sauce wiped off with a rag. The owner GLAREd at me when I asked for my coffee and went insane and called me a liar when I told her what happened to my food. The food is disgusting, the wait staff and the owner are so stressed out and unhappy it is unpleasant just to walk into the environment. It was such an an awful experience and the people are so down right mean and rude it ruined my morning!
We had a friend who did a HUGE favor for us and we ordered him a large arrangement of flowers ( over $100). We ordered on the internet and got an order receipt and confirmation. When we next saw him he said jokingly " I hope it all worked out the last person I did this for sent me a great bottle of wine." We asked if he got the flowers and he had not. When I called Jacob Maarse and told them what happened, they were totally not apologetic and said " Well you can send another and get delivery for free." I could not believe it!!! I said " Are you really telling me that after you did this to me your remedy is for me to buy more flowers from you?" She said "If you want to."This was SHOCKING!!!! We have bought numerous arrangements from them in the past. What arrogance! I will NEVER buy anything there again.
They would not listen to the issues I had with my new Denali, gave it back to me saying the squealing brakes and slipping transmission were "normal". Maybe that is why GMC is going under!
I have worked with Glenn on several projects and have recommended him to many people who have had a great experience working with him. He is insightful and knows design and construction inside and out. He has great ecologically friendly ideas. He is modern without being cold or sterile. He will let you know the long-term consequences of the materials you choose. He is down to earth in a profession swamped with ego.
PROS: Knows every aspect of this complex field

I had Luis come to rebuild a stone steam shower and to refinish the stone floors in my home. He was reasonably priced, kept his appointments, did a great job and cleaned up after himself. He is going to install granite counters in my kitchen. He worked on the stone installation at the Getty Museum and that was a good enough reference for me to try him out. He is friendly and polite to boot. Great guy, great work.

Andrew was on call for my house. He was knowledgable, polite and honest. He checked out why my furnace was not working, order the valve and when the valve turned out to be the wrong one, he drove out that day, no charge, to get the right one. Great company.
I have used them for basic fencing for 12 years and four jobs. They always have the best price, work efficiently and are good people. I highly reccomend then for basic fencing, I have never had then do anything fancy.

They gave me a quote, but when I brought it in to get the work done, after checking that I was paying for it out of pocket and that they would not have to answer to an insurance company, they said that it may cost 5 times the quote and take much longer than anticipated. I drove straight over to Baker's auto body and Ron jr offered to drive me home while he checked out the car, took 1 hr to check out the car, quoted LESS THAN HALF of Marco's original quote and finished the job in a quarter of the time Marco's had originally anticipated. Ron Baker had someone to pick me up as well. This is the second car they repaired for me and they are the best and kindest people you will ever meet.
