Fantasia Hair Creations & Tanning Salon

Fantasia has been almost the only place at which I have gotten my hair cut in the last couple of years. I really have no reason to look anywhere else. They are very knowledgeable and also very good at deciphering exactly what you want. Bambi is my favorite stylist out of the bunch, although they all do a wonderful job.

Hong Kong Buffet

The food here is good, but obviously one of the reasons you go to an all you can eat buffet is to stuff yourself silly. Hong Kong Buffet is definately a place for that. The food is almost always hot and fresh. The food is enjoyable and the envirnoment is also enjoyable. It is clean and conducive to a good time with friends.

Tran's Super Chinese Buffet

Trans is definately a Branson staple. The food is good and there is plenty of it. It doesn't necesarily try to be extremely authentic, but the family that runs it is Korean. The service is great and the owner always calls everyone "boss." It is gret to hear him say, "Goodbye boss" to everyone that goes out.

Rocky's Italian Restaurant

Rocky's has a good selection of Italian food. The food is good, but not necesarily great. The envirnoment is slightly relaxing and could be romantic. The service was good but nothing really to rave about. Overall, it has good food and there isn't much to complain about.

Chateau On The Lake

This resort is a nice place for almost any occassion. It is a little out of the way, which can be nice and a little anoying. It is perched on a hill right by Tablerock Lake. It has a wonderful balcony which looks over the lake. The restaurant has good food but can be a little pricey. They also have extensive banquet facilities for both large parties, 1000 people, or smaller business meetings.

Big Cedar Lodge

This resort is a great place to get away from the crowds of Branson. It is perched on a perfectly secluded spot on Table Rock Lake and offers a great variety of activities and services. The good at the in house restuarant is great, although it is a little pricey. If you can afford this resort, you will most definately enjoy it.

Southtown Grille

This bar and grill really has wonderful food and service. The steaks are exception and the seafood is fresh and tastey. There is a surprisingly eclectic menu with unique foods. I would definately recommend it to anyone.

Studio 11 Coffee House

Click N Sip is a great internet cafe. They have great coffee and speedy internet access. The staff is just great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. It is a comfortable place to go with friends or to go by yourself. I highly recommend it for anyone in the area.

Broadway Cafe

Broadway Cafe is the best known coffee shop in Kansas City. They really take their coffee seriously. Being one who roasts coffee myself, I am extremely impressed with their roasts and blends. Their staff is wonderfuly trained and profession. The environment is conducive to study or socializing. Leave Starbucks or other coffee chains behind. If you are a coffee fan, you cannot miss Broadway Cafe on your next trip to Kansas City.

The Roasterie Cafe

The coffee here at The Roasterie Cafe is hard to beat. The Roasterie opened up a cafe to showcase its high quality single origin coffees, and it does precisely that. To pass up this cafe is to seriously miss out on the coffee scene in Kansas City.
