I did not attend this school as a student very long, only 1 month. I moved so I ended up going to another nearby school. Anyway, Lincoln had a great campus, nice and open with lots of plants, very clean and excellent school. THe teachers were helpful and nice and the bathrooms were pretty clean. They have a few nice features like a rock wall, pool and have a great music program. I found it to be a better school than the other middle school, John Adams but only because Lincoln has more resources.
?I had seen this restaurant many times from my house and had always wanted to try it. I went there one day finally to try the food. I ordered a burrito and some chips and salsa. The food was amazing. The price was cheap and the restaurant looked nice as well. On the outside it looks like a sort of cheap trashy restaurant because it is orange and yellow however, inside it is very nice. The staff was nice and everyone was happy to recommend foods to me. The food tasted good, was served hot and fast and overall I enjoyed the experience. Would recommend if you happen to be around this restaurant.
I went to school across the street from this place. They had a great staff, great prices and great food. They often supported our school by donating food, sponsoring us and helping the community. It is a small place so the staff is consistent and the people are great. They have a great Deli and a great friendly atmosphere. They do make students remove their backpacks at the door due to shoplifting but that is understandable. They carry some hard to find items like Jones Soda and have an excellent seasoned turkey Deli meat!
?They have great pizza. They do delivery and are about the same price as other pizza companies, ($10-$12). They normally have taken thirty minutes although one time they took and hour and a half because they had a new driver who bailed on the job. They thoroughly apologized and gave us our pizzas free and a coupon for next time. The pizza itself it great. The crust is chewy and light but still crispy. The only problem is how greasy the pizza is. I had to pat it down with a napkin before eating and it took three napkins. I just don?t really like oily pizza personally so I just easily removed it. I guess my recommendation is that if you get heart burn easily, bring some napkins and a lot of TUMS. Other than that, the prize and people are great. I have eaten there before in the restaurant and while not perfect, it is still pretty cool and nice.
?I have gone here only once but loved it. I actually did a walk in and they had no problem with it. They often have promotions running, like the one I went in on where new customers pay only $20 for the cut. So the first time it is cheap, fast and I LOVED the cut. They were not in it for the money, I wanted a perm and they recommended against it suggesting a slightly more ?in? style. You get the amazing service and quality of a $100 haircut for a lot less. They have a large assortment of products to see but they don?t force them on you as my previous haircutter did. After the first time, cuts are $40 which was too expensive for me so I was unable to go again. However, if you can afford it, I would highly recommend.
PROS: Good Haircut
CONS: A Bit Pricey For Mw
?I went here actually for some children?s toys. They had some great products and a wonderful staff. It had the great child friendly feeling and all the toys they had were child safe and at a great price. I went there when my niece was born to buy her a blanket and a few soft toys. They had the softest blankets I had ever felt and some adorable toys. My niece has still kept the toys and blanket after 3 years and they are still her favorites. They have survived the test of time and have not diminished in quality at all. The staff when I went helped us find everything we needed and gave us recommendation, even recommending against buying a more expensive product. Wonderful store!
?I have been going here for years. The same family has owned this restaurant since it opened. The service is great, the food is fairly priced and there are so many combinations. Certain staff members are extremely, the cooks, the owner and her son especially. Once I went and as soon as I got in the brought me a coke and my bowl without even asking what I wanted because they know me so well. They have bread to die for and so many possibilities for food combinations that you can always find something you want. The prices have recently gone up a bit but since you can fill you plate up as much as you want and take a doggie bag, the meal normally lasts me one dinner and two lunches. Only compliant is that one woman who recently started working does not speak much English and is a bit rude. Other than that, HIGHLY recommended.
PROS: GREAT FOOD
?They have great coupons in the paper all the time. Additionally, they have pretty fair and competitive prices in the first place. I have noticed they do a through job and have a nice waiting area. They are fast, cheap, friendly and very efficient. Once I went to them and forgot to tell them about a stain I wanted cleaned slightly under the mat. Because of the location of the stain, it would be difficult to see. I am used to having to instruct the car wash people (at other car washes) exactly where to clean and half the time they still miss major spots that I specifically tell them to clean. Here however, they found even that spot (despite me not telling them about it) and cleaned it up. I was in and out in 20 minutes and had no complaints about the wash at all. The only problem about this place like others have said is sometimes a very rude cashier works there and she often seems unhappy and sighs making customers feel terrible.
PROS: Great Job/Work Done
CONS: Mean Cashier :(
I don?t actually go to SMC but I have shopped at this store many times. I commute to a downtown school and like all college students am always looking to save money ? especially on books. This store has great prices, friendly staff, and high buyback prices and is amazing. One time I went there just curious to see if they had one of my books for History and it was $45 cheaper than the other bookstore near my school. Not even was it cheaper but they also bought it back for $5 more than the other store. These people really care about students and seem like they aren?t in it for the money like other bookstores. Only problem ? they refuse to give quotes (for prices or buyback value of book) over the phone, you must go in person.
PROS: Good Store
CONS: No Over The Phone Quotes
?I have been a continued customer here for years. They have amazing food, a great helpful staff and the food looks as good as it tastes. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. My only problem with them is that their selection is not consistent. Because it is so small and all the food is fresh, and also because of its popularity, they frequently run out of some dishes like their Napoleons and some flavors of Danish?s. My favorite foods are the Florentines (glazed cookies with chocolate in between), the miniature Danish?s (a great size for those of us who want a small tasty snack) and the Baguettes. The staff is always wonderful and many of them are French themselves. Just ask them for some recommendations or help choosing food and they will steer you in the direction of what you are craving. They also do personal cakes and the like but I have no experience with those services. The only experience I have with cakes is one I bought a fruitcake (not the loaf kind, this one is a kind of cheesecake with fruits in and on it). Normally I hate cheesecake and fruitcake but this was light and fluffy and delicious. If you?re even in the area come here!
PROS: Good Food, Good Staff, GOod Service
CONS: A bit Pricey, Inconsistent Selection
