This is a great place to go to get your nails done--the decor and atmosphere is great and the manager (a guy) is SO nice! My girlfriends and I go here all the time! And they have a frequent customer card, which I think is always nice. Their prices are very comparable to many nail places in the Southport area.
I went here with my mom and two sisters for a fun girls day...while the services were all great (we had the full day package--haircut, make up, massage, facial and lunch), the customer service was terrible!
When my sister got a facial (she's never gotten one before) the employee told her about some other services and my sister just kind of nodded, like "okay, thanks for telling me"....well the employee ended up giving my sister these services and then when we were checking out she charged her over $150 extra!! My sister did NOT want these services and so the mangager proceeded to bring the employee who did this out in to the lobby to talk with my sister--in front of all the other customers.
It basically came down to the employee yelling at my sister and my sister feeling very uncomfortable and embarrassed while the manager looked on--it was the most unprofessionall thing I've experienced.
I would NEVER go back and would NOT recommend it to anyone--go to the Four Seasons, Peninsula or anywhere else!!
I've been seeing Dr. Lewis for about 4 years and have no complaints...the staff is fairly nice and friendly and Dr. Lewis is very professional and nice.
It's a fairly good walk from the Fullerton L (it's bascially by PotBelly's on Lincoln), but sometimes hard to find parking.
They are pretty good of keeping on track with appointments too.
I've beengoing here for about a year and have no real complaints. I see Dr. Christopolous, who is a great internal dr. I like how the office has a parking lot and is also accessible by the L (Fullerton stop).
This is also Depaul's student health center.
No real complaints about it--just a good doctor for anyone in their mid-twenties...
I love this hotel as much as I love its spa! The rooms are spacious and very nice--nice sitting area and the bed/pillows are awesome--makes you not want to leave.
The staff is nothing but first class and so friendly. It's of course VERY pricey, but it's also the Four Seasons so nothing surprising. Great location though for out of towners!
This is one of my favorite hotels in Milwaukee (up there with Pfister, just a total different atmosphere). It's trendy and fun--the bar area is great for drinks and happy hour! The rooms are new and updated...a little pricer but it's worth it if you want a nice hotel downtown.
We'll for sure be coming back here!
This hotel is a nice, cheap place to stay if you're visiting Milwaukee. The rooms are average and price is good. We usually stay there if we are coming up for a Brewers/Marquette game as it's a great location to downtown attractions.
However, if you're looking for a NICE hotel in Milwaukee, for sure look into others, such as the Pfister or Hotel Metro.
Okay, so I thought I'd give my bridemaids a deal for getting their nails done for my wedding, so we went here (as we were assured that it would be okay to come here for wedding nails--and I wanted a place we could all get in at one time).
Now I KNOW these are students, but OH MY GOD---they were AWFUL! I had a guy (I was the bride) and he took literally an hour and a half to give me just a manicure--and then he couldn't even do the french part of it because "he was too jittery from coffee"...which must be their line because three of my nine bridesmaids also got that from their technicians.
The whole ordeal was almost 3 1/2 hours and was anything but relaxing. I think my 3 year old neice could have given me a better manicure. And the teachers never ONCE came over to check on the students...it was horrific and I will NEVER recommend this place.
Yes, they are students, but come on---you should be able to file a nail! I literally asked if I could just file my own nail at one point. We all got back to the hotel and redid our nails they were that bad!
They should NEVER tell brides to come here!
I had my rehearsal dinner here and it was great! We had about 50 people and reserved the back area. The service was great--they kept the margaritas and coronas coming, and the food was good (nothing spectacular, but fine for our purpose). You can even have the mariachi band (there on fridays) come in and play for your group.
It was a great low-key fun rehearsal dinner location (or great for a private party, etc).
I had my nine bridesmaids, flower girl and mother of the bride/grooms' hair all done here, in addition to mine and wow--we were all SO happy! Dez was my stylist and was amazing! They were very accomodating (letting us bring in coffee/muffins while we got ready--my videographer was even there and they were okay with it).
They use Aveda products, which I love and were all fun stylists to have the day of your wedding. I think the hair prices ranged from $35-$45-without tip.
