Goodwill Industries

Every holloween we trek over to the local Goodwill Store for little goodies. The store is usually clean and organized. I like that they take my donations and take the clothes right inside instead of dumping them into a big bin like the other Goodwill shops. It makes donating worth it!

Sundance Spas

If you are looking for a small spa or a custom built pool this is the place. They are conveniently located for people in central san jose. The showroom is fairly large and they have lots of great ideas. Installation was a snap!

Dolce Hayes Mansion

The Dolce Hayes Mansion was the perfect place to have an event that pampers women. A recent event involved workshops throughout the day, a tasty lunch and guest speaker and then pampering services for all.

Busy Body Cleaning Services

As cleaning services go they do a fine job. They were on time and left the house smelling fresh. I felt it was safe to have them come in while I'm at home or not.

Cash for Computers

I struggled to decide what to do with my old computers until I found this place. They will take your old computer and I believe they repair then sell them again. Just make sure nothing is left on the system.

Factory Outlet Jewelers

This was a big disappointment. They are really really busy so they must do quite well. I just didn't see anything that was good quality. The diamonds had carbon or were a lower grade. Their prices are about average-

Mann's Jewelers

Mann's Jewelers has been around for a very long time and they are really customer friendly. They have great sales and they will also repair and clean your pieces.

PROS: very established and reputable
CONS: small shop

Glorious Gift Baskets

I've contacted them several times for baskets to people down in their immediate area. The baskets are delivered with colorful celephane and nice items inside. There is a good variety in terms of price range.

Susan Walton

Susan is a wonderful artist and does landscapes of the area and other locations too. She works with oils and watercolors.
I visited her exhibit a short while ago and was very pleased with her work. She can be found at Cubberly Center in Palo Alto.
