Sigrid Ender at Textures truly knows how to "read" a person's hair. She has been cutting and coloring hair for decades so she really knows her craft and will give you a style that is what you really want--not just what you think you want. You have to take a leap of faith to trust her, but the results are worth it! Only drawback is the schedulers mess up more than they should. Sigrid usually doesn't have a long wait.

Summerwinds Nursery offers a good variety of decent quality plants at prices that are about 10-20% less than the nurseries in more expensive zip codes. Expertise with gardening questions is hit or miss, depending on who helps you. They have a frequent buyer discount program.
Irish Express Moving & Storage
The movers and office staff of Irish Express are hardworking, communicate well, are conscientious and efficient. We have used them twice and they stay on time and on budget.
Alain Pinel Realtors
Carol Lin at Alain Pinel is an experienced, savvy realtor with high integrity. She is also extremely accommodating, which is essential when working with families with children. She is very attentive to what you want, and has the patience to work with you until you are fully satisfied.
Beltramo's Wines & Spirits
The purveyors of wine and spirits at Beltramos are very knowledgeable and never snooty. Everything (really) they have ever suggested that I buy has turned out to be fabulous. The shop is never crowded.
Ducky's Car Wash
Ducky's Car Wash charges almost twice as much as the other local carwash joints, but only delivers half the quality of service! They seem to take longer, too. The only "fun perk" is the overpriced gift shop to browse while you wait.
California Paint Company
The staff at California Paint Company are very helpful at guiding the novice home decorator on window treatments. However, I do not recommend working with their contracted installer, as I found his work to be a bit careless.
Hector Marin
Hector Marin is the BEST gardener I've had, hands down. He routinely goes above and beyond to make sure my property is kept in the best shape possible. He also has excellent communication skills and a very pleasant demeanor.
Kevin Raftery Horticultural Service
Kevin Raftery is a talented arborist with a keen eye as to how plants and trees develop. His team is hardworking and prompt. The only frustration is getting in contact with him, as the phone tag can become unbearable.
Watercourse Way
Watercourse Way is an indulgent treat when you want to retreat from the everyday world. While the spa has a high volume of clientele, I never feel rushed or that my privacy is compromised.
