I've been here twice, and I have to say I like their food a LOT. Very authentic fare and atmosphere, very Mexican. But the servers, at both visits, tended to forget things, and they were inattentive. There are runners that bring your food out, so once you give your order to the server you might not see him again until you are finished eating! What happened to checking to make sure you have everything you need during your meal? I hated the fried ice cream because they make it with corn flakes, which tasted stale... but I'm told that's how they do it in the "Old Country", so I won't order it again... but the sopapillas were good.
PROS: great food, nice atmosphere
CONS: service sucks

I haven't been to the original, but Mariani's has a NEW restaurant in Cranberry, and their sauce is out of this world! I LOVE their pasta Vegitariana, huge chunks of vegetables in the sauce, and enough food to take home for a few more meals leftover! Our server was very attentive and considerate, very sweet and knowledgable. Their prices are very comparable to similar style restaurants, they aren't too pricey.
PROS: You HAVE to try their sauce!
CONS: I haven't found a thing wrong with them.
