Georges Restaurant
I have been going to George's Restaurant for years for breakfast on Sundays with a group of friends. The service is outstanding and everyone hustles to get families with kids their food and drinks so they can enjoy the lively homey atmosphere. George is always hovering at the front to make sure all his customers are happy. The wait staff is friendly and if you get Sue, you are in for a treat!

Cafe Laguardia West
This place opened a while back, but everytime I go I am amazed at how interesting and good the food is. The fresh fish is not to be missed and it's great for pork too. The ambience is so cute and the animal prints make you feel like Ernest Hemmingway may walk through the door at any moment. I am always greeted by a big smile and seated promptly. The smells are great. Cuban food is interesting and has a unique spice mix that is both savory and sweet at the same time. They do it up right!
PROS: Conveniently located and parking is easy!

Caffe Deluca Forest Park Inc
I love going to this restaurant, whether it's for a light lunch of salad and quiche or dinner of their wonderful chopped salad with chicken, everything I have ever ordered is great. The cocktails are generous in size and served with a smile. The daily specials are interesting and worthy of ordering. The outside upstairs patio is like being in Tuscany. The staff is knowledgeable and very efficient. I love this restaurant

Robinson's No 1 Ribs
This place may not look like much from the outside or even that much from the inside, but the food is to die for! Everything is yummy and tasty and smell like heaven on earth. The BBQ ribs are the best I have ever had. The meat pulls off the bone and is just lip smacking good. I usually get chicken and if you eat in you get salads and some other sides that aren't included in the carryout. The BBQ sauce, which you can buy here or in most local grocery chains is so good. Charlie has won the best ribs in Chicago and its obvious why...go and try...you won't be disappointed.

Hoy Landscaping Inc
This company has been our landscapers for a long time and are courteous, on time and always do a good job. Their team of cutters swoop in and get the job done. When we have had a bad storm, they pick up all the branches that have been knocked down and take care of their disposal. Because they have a team of landscapers, it always seems like it takes less time to do all the work. They are neat and tidy and always clean up all the waste. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Ross Trudi - Lynch Dental Ctr
My father is a dentist in Ohio, but when I have an emergency or one of my friends needs to see a dentist, this is the place to go...it's a family of dentists and they are all nice. Many of my friends regularly go here and they have nothing but nice things to say about the whole staff. Friendly and very clean atmosphere. Parking is easy and its located in a very cool building. All of the dentists are equally good and are knowledgeable and up to date on all the latest techniques and procedures. I am very picky when it comes to someone putting their fingers in my mouth, but I would let them do it anytime!

Grape Leaves
This restaurant is a real find south of the Green Line in Oak Park. I can honestly say I have never had a bad entree from here. You can dine in, but get there early as the seating is limited; or you can carry out. The chicken shwarma sandwich is my favorite! It's better than a burger anytime. Vegerarians will be delighted with the number of entrees that are actually vegetarian and not adaptations of meat dishes tweaked for them. The service is consistent as the server is always on the floor. This place is worth the trip south of the el green line in Oak Park!

Family Plumbing
I have used this family owned plumbing business now for about three years. They are fair, work fast and clean up after themselves. Very efficient and know what they are doing. I had them add the plumbing for a washing machine for my 1920's condo and it came out great. It's been three years and not one problem from the job!

Bump City Auto Body Inc
Last year, I slid on some ice and did $3,000 worth of damage to my car. I had taken my car to this place before as I had been hit by someone who's insurance had them as a preferred vendor. They did such a good job the last time, that I felt confident about taking it back there again. They worked with my insurance agency and actually their estimate was LOWER than my adjustor's! That never happens in the real world. It took one week to repair the body damage and I had also damaged the custom wheels too. All was good when I went to pick up my car. It looked brand new! I was very happy and an extra bonus, a box of cookies and daily calendar was in the passenger's seat as a small token of their appreciation for using them to repair my car. How cool is that! The whole staff is friendly and knowledgeable too. They did not treat me like a dummy when it came to explaining the work. I highly recommend them to all who need body work done right the first time.

River Forest Animal Hospital
Two years ago, I found a stray cat in my alley. It took me about 6 weeks to get the little guy to let me pet him and what do I do, but lure him into a cat carrying box and cart him off to RF Animal Hospital. Dr. Jahnke examined him and gave him the HIV test right away. He also got neutered and was given shots the same day. I picked him up the next day and needless to say, he was glad to be coming home to my house! The staff was so nice to Brony-yr-Aur and gave him extra TLC as he was homeless and someone was adopting him! The newer offices are state of the art and the staff is friendly, but professional. Conveniently located in the Jewel parking lot in River Forest off of Lake Street makes for easy parking.
PROS: Great location and easy parking especially when you have a scared cat!
