This is a wonderful art and craft supply store, but they also specialize in stationary and envelopes. They also carry a large assortment of paper and who knew there were actually so many types of paper. And the sales people take a personal interest in helping you find the canvas, paint, brushes, pads, or whatever it may be that you need. I?ve been there quite a few times and they?ve always had a ridiculously large selection of art supplies.
They have everything you could ever want or need in terms of art supplies. What surprised me most was that they carried items for a whole lot less than I could have imagined possible. This is great place for folks on a budget to stock up on art supplies. As I already mentioned, the prices are cheap and items are heavily stocked. What could be better than that? Well, they also carry discontinued supplies too. One thing however, the store is a little cramped for space but it makes sense - they have evereything you could possible need here.
I can vouch for almost every type of bread they sell, and it is all oh-so-very good. Believe me, I'm salivating right now just thinking about the irresistibly flaky crust and the heavenly aroma. Their bread must be coming from some heavenly source because my mouth had never before tasted something so great. Oh, their other goodies are yummy as well but if you don?t try the bread then your visit was in vain.
This is a small little bakery that specializes in making delicious loaf breads, cookies and friendly service. Their red velvet cupcakes are phenomenal and just so out of this world. One bite out of their buttery and chewy cookies will have you hooked. They offer so much variety that I really don?t know where to be but just look at their display window and you?ll know what I?m talking about.
I was a bit skeptical of their French pastries but WOW ? the vanilla flavors just hits you and you regret not having been more adventurous when it comes to food. They make some amazingly sweet and wholesome pies, their cakes are delicious. Everything I've had here, from the cheesecake to the fruit filled tarts were all incredible. Service is sometimes a little slow but Silver Moon Bakery should not be missed.
This very small bakery has the best canolis I have ever tasted and real Italian pastries too. The place has a certain charm to it and their goods are very reasonably priced. The buttered cookies and the cheesecake is the best I?ve had ever. Everything is homemade with the finest fresh ingredients and made to perfection. If you can handle the lines, it's worth the wait. Get yourself there now!
Amy's Bread is small and often crowded, but that won?t surprise you once you taste their cookies, they are moist and chewy, what cookies should be. Don?t be surprised by the overcrowded feel or the sometimes-hurried nature of the staff, lines form quickly and the staff does its best to get everyone moving. The olive bread is a delicious treat, as are the bread twists. I can?t recommend them enough. I assure you, you will because a regular patron.
Levain Bakery has some truly large and delicious cookies, but they?re expensive as they are good. They have an awesome selection to choose from, their chocolate & peanut butter cookies are a little too sweet for me but their oatmeal raisin cookies are perfect. Do me a favor and pick up an olive oil & herb loaf; it?s out of this world. On word of advice, go in early because they do sell out of items.
Pitusa Bakery is a small bakery with a lively, friendly and talkative staff. There are always a multitude of folks ordering coffee, cake, pastries and sandwiches. They offer an excellent selection of baked goods and some truly delicious donuts and they?re large too. The price is good and I forgot to mention that they have a very tasty selection of freshly made sandwiches ? this is the place to visit when going to lunch.
I don?t think these stores were around when I was a kid, now-a-days kids have more to choose from and this store carries an array of stylish clothing. They carry some top name brands and surprisingly, marked down prices. The store is usually packed with mothers and kids rummaging through the well-advertised sales. The staff is always ready to help you out in the event that you can?t find an item in a particular size; they?ll more than gladly check to see if they have an extra in the back (I wish more stores did that).
