McCurdy's Comedy Theatre

This is my 2nd comedy club experience as I was just at Side Splitters two days before coming here. This place is great! The 7:30p show is non-smoking, so that's the one we went to. Two item minimum purchase per person from the menu, so beers @ $4.50.

We saw Paul Mecurio and he was sooo stinking funny! The funniest comic I've seen! He was so spontaneous and had great audience participation.

I'm going back next week for Gilbert Gottfried!

Went again the next Friday (11/17/06) and saw Gilbert Gottfried. I was disappointed this time. Our reserved seats SUCKED big time, we were against the wall. I reserved on a Monday and the other couple at our table bought the last seats available and only hours before the show? Why did we get sucky seats when I specified where we wanted to sit? Very disappointed. Another thing was the warmup act for the main comic was the same as last week with the EXACT SAME ROUTINE! Ugh I wish I had known, as we wouldn't have returned so quickly.

I'll still be going back, but I won't go two weeks in a row and I'll be double sure to confirm my seat assignment with their online site seating chart. Show was still great (main act).

Side Splitters Comedy Club

I was here on Nov 8th for Brian Bradley and it was awesome! It was my first "comedy club" and I'm hooked! There is a 2 item minumum purchase per person, so be aware. The cheapest items are water and soda @ $3 each. Beers are $4.50 and foo foo drinks are quite high at $8! I didn't try the food, was just drinking.

COASTAL ORTHOPEDICS & Sports Medicine

I suffered an injury to my right knee approximately two months ago. After a week of pain I visted a local walk-in doctor who put me on Celebrex 200mg for up to two months and told me I had a possible medial meniscus tear and to visit a orthopedic surgeon if the pain didn't cease after 30 days. So I scheduled this place just to be on the safe side.

I had an 8AM appointment to see Doctor Alan L. Valadie and had made the appointment for the office closest to my home (5101 4TH AVENUE CIR, Bradenton, FL 34208). Unforunately upon arriving there they informed me I actually needed to visit 6015 Pointe West Blvd. Suite 100, Bradenton, FL 34209 instead. I wasn't told of this change and they almost didn't see me because of this problem (without rescheduling). But it worked out fine just had to drive a bit further.

The office seems state of the art. The x-rays are all digital showing on an LCD screen in the exam room. The Doctor was very professional and had me in and out of the office quickly.

Hopefully I don't have any problems and won't require a re-visit, but if I do I feel confident that these people are my best choice.

Gators Dockside

We have our bike meets here about once a month or atleast once every other month. I enjoy it here, food is pretty good. Bathrooms are clean and wait staff is friendly. They are great about setting aside a large area of joined table for 30ish people that attend our meets.

They serve gator bites and other alligator grub, but I don't like gator so I can't comment on that.

Conveniently located in Tampa on Fowler. Close to USF & Busch Gardens.

China Buffet

If you like buffet Chinese food you'll probably enjoy this place. The food is the same as about every Chinese Buffet I've been too, but this place is PRICEY! It costs extra for crab legs (normal) but at $20+ per person for the crab leg dinner, it's a mini-fortune for our family of 6 when we went. The staff was almost non-existent when they were needed. I only ate here once and don't foresee myself going back.

China Star Chinese

I've eaten from here probably a dozen times since I work close by and used to live around the corner. I wouldn't recommend eating INSIDE as it's kinda dirty and you'll notice rust on the chairs and warped ceiling fans. However the food IS good and I do quite enjoy it to go.

Farmer Ginger Assoc Flagship

I tried for several days to contact Ms. Ginger w/ this real estate company with no luck. She was highly recommended by a friend ref property in River Ranch, but alas I cannot reach her.

If I was more local I would probably drive there mid-week to see if I could reach her, but unforuntately I'm 75 miles away, so that's not an option.

Not a very good business if you can't reach someone by phone or leave a message to contact them.

Oh well, her loss!

Honey Hut

This place operates off the honor system, there are no employees inside. There is a small selection of homemade honey products on a pyramid type shelf. You pick what you want, write it down in the log book, then put cash in the box in the center of the room. PLEASE DO NOT RIP THESE PEOPLE OFF!

I got some yummie honey and a honey comb which I made into a peanut butter honey comb sandwich when I got home, YUM!!

R J Kielty Plumbing Inc

This plumbing company was contracted out by Pulte Homes to do the plumbing in my new home. I stopped by when they were doing the rough in and the plumber talked to me for about 10 minutes explaining what he was doing and whatnot, very friendly. I've had 0 plumbing problems and am very happy with my setup. I would use this company for service if I needed it or as new construction.

Ryder Bikes

I went there for a part for my bicycle and they had it instock. I also purchased a bicycle seat while I was there seeing as they had many to choose from. I was very happy with the selection and helpfulness of the employee. I would recommend this place for those in need of bicycles or bicycle parts.
