The great thing about this camp is that it is close to my house and there are so many opportunities to try different activities with the kids's friends. The children go to the pool twice a week and other times, they play games, do arts and crafts, read, etc.
But one thing that I noticed was that the kids spent a large amount of their time on the playground, while they could have been doing something more educational.
A good thing about this camp is that there are many things that the children can do and the camp provides a great opportunity to meet new friends. Their programs are fairly well structured. The only con would be that the teachers do not have as much enthusiasm as other camps - you can tell at the end of the day that they're tired.
It's an organic cleaners owned by a friend's mother. I would say that the quality is pretty good. The physical size is about the same as the average size of any cleaners. Because I personally know my friend's mother, I also know that she is quite good with clothes. She would very stylishly alter my friend's jeans to match the current trend or style when my friend and I went to school together. Her mother has a strong fashion awareness that appears on her work.
A nice lady was there to greet me and she helped me look for what I needed. I thought the flowers were a bit overpriced, but they were fresh. It cost $58.00 for a dozen roses and $8.00 for delivery fee - which I believe, is a common price for delivery. The store was pretty, clean, and the flowers out for display was plentiful. The other stores that I've been to had had very little out and they were displayed in a very scattered and unorganized manner.
I was very much disappointed with the level of education that was being taught there. When my family moved, I entered a different high school (which was in a wealthier neighborhood with an excellent school) and because of the lost year in Huntley Middle School I felt like I was a couple years behind everyone else. Also, whether it was because I was of a very scarce minority, or I was a quiet and easily intimidated girl, I've had a very upsetting and unjust incident with a teacher.
The prices were as reasonable as doctor fees are. The one thing that would've made my experience better is if Doctor Kim had been more personal with me. I felt as if it was just business - she was the doctor who was supposed to cure/help keep strong her patient. Dr. Kim's office is located inside a mall.
I think I've only been to this place once - mainly because of the inconvenient location. From what I remember, the food was okay and the price was tolerable, but the service was not as friendly as I'd have liked. My mother and I ordered a take-out (it's also a dine-in restaurant) and we waited about 15 to 20 minutes for it. The insides were nicely decorated. Overall, it's an average rating store leaning on the 4 stars for the pretty decent food.
What I liked about this store is, it's always decorated. For example, on Valentines day, the windows would be filled with pink hearts, red roses, pretty designs, etc. It adds a very warm feeling to the community. However, when I went inside for a closer look at the store, I found many things to be overpriced - like the flowers. They also sell other misc. things like cards, picture frames, etc. But I believe that they are known for their flowers, which are fairly fresh. But for that price, I would take my money elsewhere.
I've never even heard of this shop, but I bought ice cream in the same plaza and because it was a nice day, I decided to take a walk and try out this store. I couldn't believe my eyes! The prices on these clothes!! Maybe I'm missing something, like the name brand (which is one I'm not familiar with), but the clothes cost 2, 3 times more than other "expensive" clothing stores like Abercrombie, Hollister, etc. Of course, I didn't buy anything, but I felt ripped off even just walking in there. Even if my parents were multimillionaires and I had that kind of money to spend, I found nothing special about their clothes.
The owners are, I believe, two sisters who are unbelievably nice and generous people. Although I live quite far from their cleaners, I go the extra many miles to go to their specific dry cleaning store. Especially because I have clothing that cost hundreds of dollars per set, I am cautious and skeptical as to the care that my clothes will receive. And for their excellent and skilled services, they have very reasonable prices. I most definitely recommend them!
