I've stopped in here to pick up clove cigerettes (when nostagic for my beatnic days. I have always had great service, and although I do not know much about cigars and pipes they have an awful lot of them. The sales guy is always nice, and greets me proffessionally. The prices are on par with other specialty stores.
PROS: In and Out
CONS: maybe a little expensive
This is one of my favorite Saturday activities, to go to the Community Market with my 3 year old and talk about healthy food. We always buy a ton, yet it is so fresh and tasty we need to go back the next week. Since we started shopping my little one loves fruits and vegtables (Jams, preserves, breads) The farmers and shoppers are always so polite, it is like going back in time. The prices are great too!
PROS: Great food, fun atmosphere, great prices
CONS: Parking can be difficult
After recovering from the fire in 2005 Claytons is opening again. Home to the biggest deck in Lynchburg, this fun lounge type atmosphere, makes Clayton a fun and delicious choice on a nite out. Food is great. The staff is great personable and fun, with tons of live entertainment lined up.
PROS: Good Fun for a Good Price
CONS: Not for families
This store was exceptionally clean. It's prices were also slightly higher. They had a great variety of things for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The sales people were very no pressure, but friendly and helpful.
PROS: Extremely clean
CONS: higher priced than some
The day the most recent Harry Potter book was released, I desperately tried to create a costume for my 9 year old and wondered in here. The sales woman was with another customer greeted me. We walked around (with a lost expression) and when the other person left she assisted me in creating a plan (without sewing)to make a great costume for my son for less than 20 bucks. She was a life saver, and although I do not knit or sew, I would highly recomend this shop to anyone who does. It was clean, well priced (I think) and the people are exceptional!
PROS: Exceptional people
This is a great shop for amateurs (like me) to pros. They are well stocked, with great pricing, and personal service that you do not get from the pros. The sales team are super helpful, and if it is not busy, more than willing to discuss with you your latest project. I can spend hours here! Plus they will order anything you need.
PROS: Great people and great service
CONS: can be difficult to turn into the parking lot
The food here was amazing, I am from the North East and loved the Philly style steak sandwiches. They were delicious. The place had a great atmosphere and the staff was personable. I highly recomend this to someone from the North East who is a little home sick! Yum.
PROS: Good Food
CONS: A little pricey....
This is a great amusement park, with putt putt, go carts, a batting cage, and an arcade. It is well designed, and always clean. It tends to be expensive, but they offer various family packages with coupons (Call for more info) The staff is always patient and we love it. It is a great place for all ages.
PROS: Great layout, Fun
CONS: Can be pricey
The Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra provides quality classical music during its seven-concert season, including two for young people and a free outdoor concert with fireworks for the community. It is a non profit orginization to preserve the arts in Lynchburg. They have amazing concerts, that stun young children in their brillance. Eventually they will offer classes, can't wait!
PROS: Amazing Experience
CONS: No programs yet for children
This is a great store for people like me who haven't completely given up the VCR (I think I have a Beta in the basement) They have a great selection of VHS, and are always courtaous. They are another hidden jewel of Lynchburg! Call and ask about specials, they often have great deals.
PROS: No DVDs
CONS: No DVDs
