As modern furnishings are hit and miss for my taste, this store is sometimes great, sometimes over the top. Harsh colors and lines, with lots of chrome and leather. The prices are pretty high up there as well.

Burnt Sugar
Every time I visit Fremont, I am sure to go to Burnt Sugar. They have great soaps, stationary, cosmetics, cards and more. The store is always decorated in a funky and fun fashion. This is a fun place to shop

My Favorite Place
You certainly couldn't swing in this shop. It is chock full of stuff, some great, some not so great. Apparently, this is sort of a co-op deal, so there are lots of different vendors in this place. I guess this accounts for the range of great to not so great items. Definitely worth a look during the holidays

Blue Sky Gallery
Blue Sky's art is one of a kind and breathtaking. His mural downtown is legendary, and his gallery is heavenly. I think I want one of each of his pieces. True, the prices are more than the average artist, but Blue Sky's work and fame make his work not only a pleasure, but an investment as well.

I had to stay on them a bit because I think they're fairly busy, but Marvin Mullis is a pro and has heaps of law experience. He won my case, and I am most grateful.

Locke Mark D Md - Moore Orthopaedic Clinic
I visited Moore Orthopaedic after I broke my wrist in a car accident. Even though my wrist was still hurting, I was told by Dr. McFadden that my wrist was fine. After weeks of not being able to use my hand, I went to a doc in the box. They x-rayed my wrist and immediately were able to tell me my wrist was broken. I went back to McFadden and showed him the x-rays. He acted like his mistake was no big deal, then tells me I may need surgery. Apparently the broken part of my wrist was causing damage to the surrounding ligaments and tendons and I had to have surgery to remove the piece. I still wonder if the pain I feel in my wrist today is a result of those few weeks of damage that occured before he acknowledged the break. They were much better at checking my bill balance than my x-rays.

Richard was my dentist when I lived in Columbia, and he was a great. He was gentle, polite, funny and accommodating. I would recommend him for anyone!

This shop is not as well known as it should be. They have great gift items, especially baby goodies and jewelry (be sure to look the original pieces, not the pre-fab inexpensive pieces). This shop is really a huge old home, and each room in the 2 floor building hosts a different type of product.

I rented from these people when I was in college. I found their staff rude, and their policies lacking. Once a staff member let himself into my home with a key. Shouldnt they have called first? Also, there was a rat problem, and I had to work hard to get them to assist. Ugh, wouldnt recommend.

Cambry Enterprises
I love love love their ginger salad dressing. I haven't had it in ages, so thinking of it makes me drool. Great food, great service, atmosphere a bit lacking, and seating is scarce.
