Keystone State Park
Keystone State Park is a great place for all sorts of activities. You can rent pavilions, go boating, or go swimming during the summer. There's also a campground. You can rent a cabin or bring a camper. It's such a pleasant place to stay.
Carnegie Museum of Natural History
I've always had an enjoyable time at this museum. They have different showcase exhibits so every time you go there's something new to see. There's different areas of the museum too, so it's easy to keep kids occupied.
Carnegie Science Center
I love going to the Carnegie Science Center. I don't live in the area anymore, but I make special trips to Pittsburgh just to go there. There's activities for kids of all ages. The submarine is lots of fun too!

I've been to this store time and time again, and each time I had so much fun. It's a great place to go when you have a few hours to spend. The prices are reasonable, too.

As others have said, there's more than just fabric. You can find almost anything you need here. The prices are reasonable too. It's the best place to go for those big projects.
New Life Christian Child Care
My little sister went here for years before she started kindergarten. Everyone who worked there were so friendly! They were great about teaching children the basics (manners, etc.). They also had a lot of activities that involved the families too.
McConnell Jr Anthony L Od
Dr McConnell took over for Dr Brunatti years ago. I thought it would be hard to replace Dr Brunatti, but Dr McConnell has done an excellent job. He's very nice. His office staff can be difficult at times, but overall it's a great experience each visit.

When I was at Clarion University, Weavers Jewelers was always more than willing to sponsor us in the homecoming parade. That's why when I am in the area, I always stop in and check out their inventory. I have bought several pieces from them and have always been more than pleased.

Book Nook
The Book Nook is one of the most charming bookstores I've ever been to. The prices are reasonable. Surely you could get better deals elsewhere, but knowing that you're helping the local business owner is very rewarding. Particularly in such a cute, quaint store!
