Fountain Apothecaries
Both my mom and I have gone to Fountain Apothecaries for waxing service. Either we have different expectations or we had different service. My mom was reasonably pleased with the prices and service, where I was disappointed, and will not return.
Swan Liquor
Swan Liquors has a great selection for the size of the store. I was very impressed especially by the beer and wine selection they fit in the tiny store. The store is also conveniently located, but you pay for that convenience. The owners are friendly.
Marysia's Custom Tailoring
I took a pair of pants there too be hemmed, and was happy to be supporting a local place in my neighborhood, even though the price was a bit more expensive than other alternatives. I was disappointed, though, when I wore my pants for the first time and the hemming started to unravel.
Books On The Square At Trinity Rep
This is a nice place to browse before a show at Trinity Rep, and they have a nice selection of books. It has a pleasant atmosphere, but I never bought anything there because it is a bit expensive compared to other alternatives.
Utrecht Art Supply
Every time I come to this store, I manage to find exactly what I am looking for. However, the store is a little bit on the expensive side. The staff is friendly.
Sicilia's Pizzeria
If you like stuffed Chicago-style pizza, you will love Sicilia's. We order it at least once a month and it is so delicious and filling. It is also reasonably priced. I highly recommend the spinach and mushroom pizza.

Tortilla Flat
I have always been disappointed by the food at Tortilla Flats. It's never been bad, but always just OK, which is frustrating because I can make just OK food at home. The atmosphere, though, is nice, as are the margaritas.
Pizzico Ristorante
Pizzico is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Providence. The food has always been delicious, and the service very good. The food is a little pricey, but it is appropriate for a nice meal out. It is especially nice to be seated inside by the windows or to sit outside on a nice day.
Cellar Stories Book Store
I emailed this book store because I am looking for a very rare book. I had searched and searched using google, but could not find the book anywhere. I sent an email to Cellar Stories, and within 24 hours they had emailed me back and located the book!

Tokyo Restaurant
I went to Tokyo restaurant with several friends and the service was terrible. Our meals were brought out at different times, and my meal arrived 45 minutes after everyone else had finished, in spite of us asking twice about my meal. The servers acted as though it was somehow my fault that the meal didn't come, and did not comp us for the meal.
