i heard from my friend about this place. the owner can fix any lamps and also can turn anything into lamps. there is a huge selection of vintage lamp as well as one of a kind lamp which he designs/creates.
finally bought one w/ stained glass and wood and a touch of metal. it's $265 and i love it!
PROS: one-of-a-kind lamps!

i just move in my new apt and searching for my perfect couch for a month, finally, a friend told me about this place and highly recommended me. they have a huge collection of fabrics and all different classic frames to choose from, i almost made an order that day but the staff really turn me off and i bought one from crate & barrel finally.

if you are not monogram-fetish and looking for a real luggage, i really recommend t. anthony. i bought a carry-on garment bag 10 yrs ago, it is brown canvas with brown leather trim...about $600, and the leathers now wears nicely, the canvas still looking rugged w/ the abuses all these years.i can expect it will be the same in the next 10-20 yrs.
so this is great for non-big-brand-buyers!

well, apple store sells apple stuffs, in here, they sell ALL, so it is a one-stop location whatever u want related to computer. i have an emergency w/ my laptop once and they fix it in 5 hrs w/ all the back up. thought i had to pay 200+, but when u need it urgent, u have to pay. though i also realised some of the staff is not polite..
PROS: emergency service

i tried their rentals 3-4 times and eventually bought a bike there. reason?? mainly because of the savvy staff, they are the best and they can spot the problem and explain to us in "human words". the bikes are pretty reasonable plus, i go there everytime when my bike needs a bit tune up and it's free!

besides the famous dylan's candy bar, the sweet life is the other choice! what can you say for this inexpensive price for such delicious candy??!! my favoutire is the salty dutch licorice!! only $6 per pound! my mouth starts to drip...

if you ask me if they are authentic enough, i would say no, but if they are good for everyone, i would say yes, esp. for those who have never try before. all my friends i brought there, they love it and they start to love dim-sum. but of course, when they get to love it, they would rather go to others more authentic dim sum place.
PROS: good dim sum, esp vergeterian food

Bliss World Spas
everyone heard of bliss for the famous lotions and soaps. but the spa... it's just average. 1st, there is no changing room and locker, my girlfriend had to change in the treatment room and keep an eye on her belongings, which is not relaxing at all. the facial is okay , she enjoys a lot of the massage and the comfy robe....but when she paid w/ part of the gift certificate, cold response from the staff....
PROS: the massage
CONS: unfriendly

though everyone comes here for all the rare edition of all the big brands like vintage air Jordans or woven nikes / adidas sambas, etc. i always check out their own line "ALIFE", they are very hip and cool,
best sneakers that can match anything. prices are okay. but if you really like them like i do, also check out century21 and daffy, sometimes i find alife there for only $20 a pair!!!

believe me, everytime i go there, i walk out with 2 bags full of issey, yohji, and commes des garcons, by only paying maybe $300, i can't find elsewhere to get such a good deal! though they are used, the owner really know how to make it looks nice and clean, so i have no problem wearing them for another couple years!
