Mistral Restaurant & Bar

I had a lovely lunch and really enjoyed the atmosphere. I think the key is to get a table on the patio to get the full effect. The menu had lots of interesting choices and was not a run of the mill sort of place.

The title says that this is a "family restaurant" but I am not sure if I would bring my kids here (they are 1 and 3) as there were limited choices for them and they perfer to be in a place that they can strech their legs, and I would feel a bit uneasier in this place.

I would go back.

Diamonds Of Palo Alto

We have bought several things from my wedding set to other pieces of custom jewelry. Everything has exceeded hopes and dreams and we have enjoyed working with Israel and his team. His prices are competitive and the service is phenomenal.

Montessori School Of Los Altos

I moved to the area and wanted to send my 2 1/2 year old to a loving school, preferably using the Montessori method (I read more on this style at babycenter.com and decided that it fit my boy). I researched several dozen schools in the area and visited over 10 in person. I liked the look of this one, the teachers and the admin staff were wonderful and the other children were happy in the environment. I ended up sending my son there and think it was the best decision for him. He loves the school and he brings homes so much from wonderful art projects to lovely manners and habits. It has exceeded my expectations!

PROS: Wonderful educational materials and large yard for the children!
CONS: Uniforms - I have grown to like as it is one less thing to worry about!
