My husband would always get my flowers from Amanda's probably because he thought it was funny that we shared the same name. But the flowers were always beautiful. They have a real eye for putting together an arrangement. The prices were reasonable. Quite often I got a dozen roses for less than $50.00 and they were reliable on delivery. Their employees have helped my husband choose the right flowers and were patient with his lack of knowledge for all things floral.
This is a 3 par golf course so if you're expecting to play 18 holes go to the Burley Course. This is a neat little course that has lots of trap and obstacles.(perfect for practicing your short game) You have to be careful though the course is right next to the freeway. So accuracy is important!! The greens are well kept and the fairways aren't "rough" at all. The cost is cheap and the people are nice. Its a fun way to spend some time walking around and playing a great time.
My mom recently built a new home. She wanted something nice but was on a budget. After going to the Parade of Homes she fell in love with granite. She decided to look into prices even though she figured it was too far out of her range. We went to Evolution's showroom where we were greeted with their friendly staff. They gave her affordable options. The showroom has a lot of nice samples to look at. They came to her house and installed exactly what she was looking for. They were very professional. The quality of the work and product were beyond our expectations. They also offer a good selection of tile. I was surprised when they told us how far away they have done some of their work. I would definitely recommend this place.
I ordered a wig online and wanted to have it professionally styled. I was able to get in for an appointment pretty quickly. The interior to the salon is very nice. However, the prices are very high. The stylist was trying to pressure sell me into buying several wigs from her. When I asked her about the quality of the wig I had bought she said it wasn't the best quality but when I looked at the brands they covered it was the same brand that I had purchased. The price she was asking was considerably higher than what I paid for online. She did do a good job though when it came to the actual styling.
I decided to get a hairpiece. This was the first place I went to and was not impressed. The shop seemed run down. At first it appears they have a decent selection but they don't carry a lot on stock so what is out is basically what they have, which also means not a lot of color selection. They don't offer private rooms and the workers weren't able to answer most of my questions. I would not shop here again.
You don't find many stores like this any more. This has a collection of local craftsman you are selling their homemade items. (nothing too fancy) In addition the store has a postal desk where you can mail packages, letter, and buy stamps. I saved a lot of time and money by mailing my holiday items through this little store. The outside doesn't look like much but give this little store a shot.
This is a really neat little theater. We used to drive 35 minutes south of Tucson just to see our movies here. The Theater is modern and has stadium seating. There is a lot of seniors in the area so forget about a noisy theater. The staff is courteous and the snack bar is full. It is really worth the drive from Tucson.
A good resource for LDS books in Tucson, they also have a selection of scrapbooking materials. The staff is very friendly and if there is something that you are looking for that isn't in stock they are able to order it. They also have missionary materials, CD's, and Movies. This is a useful resource for all your LDS needs.
This library is really small you'll find it nestled in the middle of a residential neighborhood. If you aren't careful you'll miss it. They have a good selection of cds but it is a little sparse on books and movies. The movies cost $1.00 for old ones and $2.00 for new releases. Their on-line catalog is very complicated so if you figure it out they might have a better selection on-line.
This is a great library. The only negative is the location. You tend to bump into strange types in downtown Lansing. I mean its right next to a law school!!! Other than that its great. They have a great selection that you can access on the internet and have waiting for you when you come into the location. They have free movie rentals and cds this really helps for families on a budget. So you can't beat the prices!!
