While some of the schools have some problems, most of the schools are very good and have qualified teachers and personell. Once you get to HS, the choices are limited as none of the schools are particularly good, but in middle school and elementary school, all the schools are top notch.
My sister attended Bullock and so did I. I find that the teachers here were and still are nice. The administration seems competent and the teachers are all well qualified. I never had any problems with this school and don't expect any problems in the future. This school is also ranked pretty well by the school board of Texas.
I wanted to buy a nice cowboy hat here and I had no idea they cost in the hundreds. My buddies tell me that is just the normal price though. Aside from hats they have boots obviously, and alot of other old Western items. I ended up buying a cheap hat for well less than a hundred.
This store has a very wide variety of items. From pencil tools to towels, they offer very interesting eastern merchandise. The prices are very expensive, but that is just what you pay for those items. Their CD collection is decent and has many eastern tracks, but there is not enough western music available at this place.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't relish the idea of paying $8 for a small hamster ball. Their prices for the other products they have are fair though and the people are really nice so I still enjoy shopping here. They have a fair amount of dog treats and accessories and they are priced fairly.
This place has a large variety of fish and alot of those fish are types you don't normally see in stores. I like the choices that you are offered especially though. Since I have a salt water pond, this place has some cool fish I can add to it safely. Their price are fair considering what you're getting.
There are the standard fish that every store has and there are the rare fish that few stores have. This store has some nice fish and you will pay for that rarity. The store has a nice layout and the people are always trying to make the sell, but the fish are nice and that's what defines a good fish store.
I've been here a few times to buy textbooks for classes I take at other places. Not only do they have them alot of the time, they are also cheaper in general. While service is nothing to scoff at, you should not hesitate to ask the people to help you locate a book as it is hard to find otherwise.
While the name of this store is weird, their collection of books is pretty wide. They have all kinds from biography to fiction. The people here are nice and if you have questions they will answer or look it up for you. The prices are just the standard prices and the store is neat and clean, although a bit small.
Seriously, while you won't learn a whole lot just by walking through the museum, there are many interesting displays that will interest kids and adults of all ages. The cool thing is, if you have questions, there are people around who can answer them well. I find this to be a good way to spend half a day with friends or the family.
