Triple Play Baseball Softball Academy
Located behind Blue Springs Bowl, it is a hard location to find. Inexpensive batting cages that are indoor. Never busy-don't have to wait to hit. I like these cages better than Sports City, cheaper too. They offer instruction classes as well.
Ben's Lawn & Garden Ctr
Ben's has been around Blue Springs longer than I have! They are great priced, great people & great flowers! I started coming here when I was little with my Mom to get flowers for her garden. I also get my pumkins for Halloween there. Great seeds as well & pretty fountains for sale. Great selsction.
Dixon's Chili
This place has been around since the 1920's! They have their own flavor of food. I always eat their taco salad which is the greatest, better than a mexican restaurant! They have great homemade pies for dessert. Very cheap way to take the entire family out to eat. The food is served quickly. Definately recommend for anyone who is looking for good cooking!
The Liddle Sport Shop
This sport shop has been owned by the same family for generations. They do excellent designing for tshirts & have great prices on all sports equipment. Great school team selection. I have been using them for 15 years. Would recommend for all your sports/apparell needs!
Kennedys Custom Jewelers Incorporated
They design gorgeous pieces & do custom work. I go here for everything even as little as replacing my watch battery. Prices are very competitive with chain jewelers, but Kennedy's has more of a family feel. The people are very genuine in helping you & you leave feeling just as nice as the jewlery you bought.
Two Men and A Truck
They are decently priced. They pack everything & move it themselves. They were nice & polite & trustworthy. Made moving day a little bit less stressful & less hectic. People in the office are very pleasant as well. These men were hardworking & deserved their tip. Will definately reccomend & use in the future.
Village Gardens
This is the cheapest place in town. They have been around for decades & have a great reputation. They offer a huge amount of premade arrangments where you just come in & pick out, or you can design your own. I recently designed an arrangement for my Grandmothers funeral & it was so breathtaking it made me cry.
Residence Inn-Kansas Cty Indep
This hotel has kitchens in every room! They have a 2 bedroom suite with a fireplace. Their rates are very good. The longer yiou stay, the more your price goes down! It would be a great place to stay if you had a fire in your home or if you just needed to stay somewhere for a couple weeks. It is right off Highway 291. They have evening dinner & a breakfast are both included in their rates!!
Watt Drug Co
I am able to pay all of my utilities here. When you walk in you feel like your in an old fashioned drug store! They have lots of gifts & cards. You can also rent breast pumps here for breastfeeding.
It is a pleasure to shop here & be a part of a tradition.
Side Pockets
During the Summer they have many car shows in their parking lot. They have tons of pool tables, lots of darts & decent drink specials. The food is pretty good as well & not as busy during the day. We go there for lunch often. Pretty dark & smokey but so is every bar. 21 and up only after 8pm.
