Everyone hopes their child never has to go to the hospital. When my child became severely ill 2 years ago he was sent to Children's Hospital. At first they didn't know what was causing his mild coma. After he came out he was like a new born, needing to relearn everything (walking, talking etc.) We spent 6 weeks in the hospital I never left him there. While my husband and other children stayed home 2 hours away. Most of our stay was in the therapy unit. The staff was so caring. Our first day I was in the cafeteria and a doctor on break made sure I knew where everything was. Everyone took care and loved me as much as my son. We still go back 3 times a year for check ups and testing. I wish my son hadn't gone through this, but I am glad he went to Childrens Hospital in Madera. We always look forward to seeing our FRIENDS every visit. The doctors, nurses and therapist are part of our family.
PROS: The loving caring child geared enviroment
