Marc's Pharmacy
Marc's has a very nice selection and they have excellent prices as well. They carry a lot of different items. I would go there more often if they had a rewards program like Fuelperks at Giant Eagle. I still do go there sometimes, since Giant Eagle moved they are a closer store. They often have deals on pop, which I like to buy. Overall, they are a very nice store.
Pawnee Lanes
Pawnee is a small bowling alley, they only have 10 lanes, but it's still a well kept place. When I've gone there, I've had very few problems with the lanes, and they are always well oiled. The prices aren't bad either, and the staff is friendly.
Marymount Child Care Ctr
I went here for 4 year when I was younger, and it's a very nice place. When you go there, there are a lot of activities, and the people who work there are very nice. There are a lot of fun things to do when you get outside, like playing basketball. I'm not sure how much it costs, since I was younger when I went there.
Eleanor's Gift Shoppe Inc
Eleanor's is a place to go to if you want to buy something religious, like statues. They have a nice selection of things, from cards, to plates, and lots of items you can give as gifts. The employees are nice as well. The prices can be a bit high on some things, but a lot of things they sell seem fragile and well made, so maybe the prices aren't so bad for what you are getting.
Broadway-Dunham Lanes
This place is a very bad bowling alley. They are located in the same area as Ambassador, so I'm not sure how they get any business. The place is very dirty, the lanes aren't in good shape, they aren't maintained very well, and there are quite a few problems when bowling. Like getting machines stuck, racks stuck down, etc... The employees also aren't very fast to fix things. I won't be going there ever again.
Sally's Too
Sally's Too is a great food place. Like said below they have excellent food and desserts. They have a nice variety, which is nice if you're not sure what you want. The prices are low, and the people who work there are nice, all in all its a very nice place to get food from.
Maple Heights Hardware & Supl
Sometimes you want to just get 1 tool, or something small, and don't want to drive out to a Home Depot, or something similar. True Value Hardware is a nice place to find some kind of tool you may need, and it's very closeby. They have good prices as well, and the store is very clean and in good shape. The employees there also know a lot about tools, which is very helpful if you are looking for something very specific.
Woodard Beverage & Deli
They have a nice selection here of the items they have. I go in and look around if I am in that shopping part there, going to a place like the copy store a few doors down. The prices are a little high on beverages, which is what I like to buy there. Not much but only like $0.10-$0.50. They're good for buying a 20 oz. or so, but not to do your full grocery shopping.
Parma Heights Stamp & Coin
I have quite a few old coins given to me over the years from my grandfather, and a lot of these coins and similar ones are available at Parma Heights Stamp and Coin. They have a lot of older coins, from the early 20th century. Things like Mercury dimes and Buffalo head nickels. I only have a few stamps so I don't know much about them, but I do know a lot about coins. The person who I've seen there is very nice and knows a lot about what he is selling.
Mike & Reggie's Beverages
Mike and Reggies is a place I go sometimes, if I am over a friends house who lives right by there. It is easy to walk to. I go to Giant Eagle whenever I am at home, but like I said I go to Mike and Reggies when I am at a friends house. They have a lot of things in the store, I usually get a 20 oz. or 2 liter of pop. 2 liters are usually a dollar, which is about what they are at Giant Eagle as well. The thing hurting them is they don't have enough to offer even close to the selection of a full sized grocery store.
