I just took my car in for a bunch of minor work. I was so happy with the service and when I picked up the car, the owner spent quite a bit of time going through the receipt line by line and explaining everything. It is in a great location, right on Lake Monona and the bike path if you have to drop your car off. I will definitely be going back. Dependable and affordable!

I just got my hair cut here a month ago and will definitely go back. After trying out many salons in the Madison area, I feel like I have finally found a great salon. The salon is cute and there is a great relaxing feel to the salon. Sarah cut my hair and was amazing, I was so happy with the cut she gave me, low maintenance! You will also receive free product if you are referred by a friend! I highly recommend this neighborhood salon.

Domenico's Italian Restaurant
Domenico's is located in the downtown right by the Public Library and has a great lunch and dinner buffet. It has a large banquet hall that can hold over 200 people. The baked mostacolli is a must order and we love the italian sausage pizza. The delivery service is quick and friendly. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. You must stop at Domenico's if you are in the area.

Cafe Belwah
Cafe Belwa is conveniently located on the Rock River in the historic downtown area. The outdoor patio overlooks the river and a historic mural detailing Beloit's industry. The food is excellent and is presented nicely. The staff is attentive and very knowledgeable on the extensive wine list. This is a great place for a romantic dinner. The restaurant is decorated very trendy and is a needed improvement for the dining choices in Beloit.

Ohana's
O'Hana's is a great restaurant that is perfect for lunch and happy hour. The lunch sushi special is great and fast. You can sit in the front window and watch people walk down First Avenue. The teriyaki bowl competes with the best of teriyaki in Seattle. I love the decorations and the comfortable relaxed atmosphere. There are lots of TV's around that are appear to be hanging in fishnets. Try the Salmon Roe, it is super!

I Love Sushi
I love Sushi is conveniently located in the Eastlake area and has plenty of parking and is right on the busline. There is a huge sushi bar and the chefs are pretty chatty if you ask questions. They have an excellent selection of rolls and nigiri. I love the fried banana and mint ice cream dessert. The only negative is that it seems to have wierd hours and isn't open whenever we were craving sushi. Great lookout on the lake!

Taco Del Mar
I consider this a fast food mexican restaurant but very good. During lunch time, the lines seem to be very long but move quickly. The fish tacos are great and the lunch combo meals are reasonable. Make sure you get a punch card because after 10 you get one free. The salsa is tasty and the service is efficient and friendly. Quick food at a good price!
Gorditos Healthy Mexican Food
This is one of best places to go for quick and affordable Mexican food. The burritos are huge and I love the spinach, tofu and cheese burrito. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the service is quick. They have a great salsa and marinated pepper bar. The music is too loud, but it is worth the loud noise for the fresh quality of food. Good for large groups too, the line is always out the door but it moves fast!

Rain City Video
Rain City Video is conveniently located around the north side of Seattle. They have a great website and lists the videos coming out. There is a great selection of documentaries and independent movies. The staff is very knowledgeable and seem to love their job. I trust their recommendations and love that you can buy a 5 (or more) pack of movie rentals for a discounted price. It is nice to not have to pay every time you rent a video. Great selection and hours!
