I'm not a fan of this record store. I've never found what i'm looking for on a number of occasions. They do not carry a very broad selection of musical genres, preferring to opt for large quantities of chart topping titles instead. Fine if this is what you are after but for anything even slightly 'not trendy', don't even bother.I have found a few things from their bargain bins they have littered around the store once or twice.
CONS: Very pricey, try Best Buy instead.
This Virgin Megastore is located at the end of the Forum Shops in Caesars. It has a nicely planned layout with easy access to the many different genres of music. As well as CDs on the lower floor, upstairs you find DVD, books, games and a small cafe.Certainly plenty to choose from but the regular prices are not that good and people will find online merchandisers much more appealing. Having said this, they often have a lot of marked down merchandise so it's easy to walk out with a bargain or two, plus it's a great resource for listening to new music as they have the largest number of listening posts i've seen for a record store.
We called this company out to us when we had a leaky bathroom. They were provided to us by our home warranty plan. The service technician arrived on time and was very courteous and seemed knowledgeable. After the repairs, the room was left in it's same state as it had been before the work (which is more than can be said of other services!)After the work was carried out we received a follow up call from an even friendlier customer service support agent. No repeat problems, they did a good job and would have no hesitation using them again!
If gambling on sports whilst in town, this is the place to head for. It really is the ultimate sports book! The place was buzzing during the world cup - it was impossible to know where you were due to the huge mix of people from every place under the sun (a particularly large English presence causing a bit of trouble but nothing too chaotic)The great novelties of this place include the Lazy Boy recliners situated in front of the big screens.Yes, you have to pay a little extra for the privilege but it's a good experience.
In fairness, the atmosphere was good and the service fine (although we felt a bit rushed even though the place was empty). Make sure to bring your magnifying glass - you'll need it to find the food on the plate! Tremendously overpriced - plenty of other restaurants that are better to go to in Vegas for a fraction of the price. The quality of dishes was very good.
Also, a very irritating snobby waiter at the next table with a fake accent really didn't enhance the experience.
Should win an award for quickest disappearing act.
There are much better less pretentious places on the Strip for good seafood.
We visited Ghostbar on Saturday, June 25th. The cover was $25.00 per person. Yes, a little pricey, but it seems all the clubs/lounges in Vegas are charging these high covers at the door. Ghostbar is situated on the 55th floor of Palms Casino. There is an inside bar and sitting area as well as 2 outside bars. The view outside is breathtaking. The ambiance is very nice. The age was mixed. The lounge has a sign that says dancing is prohibited at the lounge, but we danced outside and didn't have any problems. They encourage you to visit there sister club, Rain, if you'd like to dance. This was the best bar/lounge I've been to!
This is what we found ourselves thinking when going in a few months ago. Some of the staff seemed miserable and unwilling to be marginally friendly or helpful during our time there. The wait was long (2 hours) to be seen but it was fairly busy that night. The waiting area is basic and overly sterile. The patient cubicles were better. These UMC Quick Care operations are not the nicest of places, I suppose they serve their purpose offering 24H none emergency care, but before rushing to one, think to yourself, can I make it through the night and see my regular doctor instead?
This small operation offers a nice pleasant and relaxing surrounding where you can have a dvd or prints of your ultrasound. The staff seemed very experienced and managed to find the little one without any trouble (after he gave the hospital ultrasoundists the run around a few times before!)We visited this place before 4D became widely available but with this newer technology, it is a must for pregnant mothers.
Sushi restaurants are extremely commonplace these days so they need to be competitively priced for what you get. I can not complain about the quality at this place only echo what others have mentioned, that the pricing seems a little too much for a basis sushi joint.I will comment that the service has been good when we've been there and the dining area clean and comfortable.
Robertos offers a very authentic tasting menu. The dining area and kitchen at this location are very clean. The pricing is reasonable.A little annoyed that when ordering chips and salsa, the salsa is poured over them nacho style but tasty all the same.Try the chili releno burrito for something a bit different!
