The kids want good pizza and you want a something else or a nice salad. Here you go, the kids love this place and I have to say I enjoy going here. Excellent service and fresh hot food.

Mandarin Gourmet Restaurant

We enjoy the food very much, always seems fresh and have never had a bad experience here. It's always ready for pickup in 15 mins :) and it takes about that long to get there.

Fast and friendly staff when we eat there too.

The dishes can be a little expensive for Chinese food, but it's worth it.

PROS: Good food
CONS: Tad bit expensive.

Hyatt Regency-Islandia

We stayed in the Suite which gave us more room. We had a bedroom with 2 queen beds and a fold out in the other room for the boys.

Each room had a TV so it was nice for the kids. Everything was clean and in good shape. It is starting to look it's age and needs to be updated a bit.

The pool area was great as well. They have a bar and you can order food right there. Nice service and friendly people.

We ate at both restaurants and both where very good. No reason to try and find a place, the food was great.

Ichibiri Restaurant

Want a great Teppan Steak house and Sushi Bar Japanese Restaurant? Here you go. The kids just loved watching the cook perform and cook our meal. We all sat around the grill and watched and clapped as the cook made several mistakes ( on purpose ) and the kids got a free show to keep them busy while the food was being prepared.

Everything was great and the service was excellent as well. Next time we are down there we will stop by again.

Ok we get there and they treated us very nice. Got kids water and our drinks right away.

They had to explain some of the terms and dishes on the menu which commonly get mistaken for something else or what the is that.

Not much of a kids menu, very very limited and be very clear of what you want. Plain buttered noodles actually had cheese on it, I never knew.

Pizza for the kis was ok, a little tangy on the sauce for some kids.

I didn't really like my dish, Risotto with shrimp - bland and heavy on the fava beans, way too heavy.

But my wife had the lamb shank - EXCELLENT and our friend had the sausage pasta dish - also excellent. I had to try both :)

And my little ones ravioli was 10 times better than mine.

Will have to go again to try once more.

B J's Restaurant & Brewhouse

Sports Bar with a restaurant pretty much sums it up. The food is ok, not a huge selection it seems. The service is pretty good though. At least the times we have been there.

Treated the kids great as well.

They have a TV's all over the place which can be good if you or your kids like sports.

Country Inn Cafe

Ok, it seems everything here is huge. they don't skimp on the size of the pancakes or the waffles.

Why is this bad? - well the kids gravitate to the sweet things. That is ok in moderation, but you end up taking some stuff home. Thats ok, you have breakfast for the next day.

Most the the selection is good here. Just ask for it without all the whip cream and other unhealthy things.

CONS: Sweet, sweet and more sweets for breakfast?

And loved it both times. Had a group of 30 people and a romantic dinner for 2 and both times it was an awesome experience.

We look forward to going back and when we are planing things with friends up that way - this is our first choice.

La Foret Restaurant

Love this place, nice and close and top notch.A wonderful place to meet up with friends or have a date night with your spouse.

Great help and excellent service.

Last time we where there it had a heavy mothball smell though.

And don't let them clump you with other people, the place is small so all you hear is the other conversation.
