Sweet Retreat Ice Cream Parlor
I was impressed with this quaint little ice cream shop. They will mix your own yogurt. They have a nice selection of ice cream. Their portions are generous and the people friendly.

Chaat Cafe
Chaat cafe has a good selection of food that is fast, healthy and tasty. I like the wraps and the cucumber salad. The cafe is clean and the service friendly.

Emerald Hills Golfland
Golfland is one of my kids favorites. The prices are reasonable and the equipment in good shape. Their arcade smells musty, and last time we were at a party here they were very slow in getting the food out.

Furu-Sato Japanese Restaurant
Furo Sato has a nice Japanese atmosphere. The sushi and other food is good. They have good service (including a buzzer you can call your waitress with). My only complaint is that they charge a lot of money extra per person if you want to eat in the traditional Japanese room they have.

Bonded Cleaners
I take all of my dry cleaning and shirts that need to be laundered to Bonded cleaners. They do a good job on the cleaning. The orders are done when promised. They often have coupons that make the order even more reasonable.

Mandarin Gourmet Restaurant
The Mandarin Gourmet is a nice mix of authentic Chinese food and American Chinese food. There is something on the menu for everyone. They have a nice group room you can reserve for larger groups. The service is prompt and they have fixed any problems with the order.

Original Joe's Restaurant
I found Orignal Joe's menu very boring and outdated. What we were served was only average taste and quality. The service was rude and we had a wait. There was a spending minimum for sitting at their counter.

Dolce Hayes Mansion
The Dolce Hayes Mansion was a great alternative to those boring chain hotels. It has a lot of character. We have booked it for out of town guests, and I've been their with a group of friends for a spa day. The spa was nice, and the large room we stayed in was cool. The service seemed a little lacking (for instance our room service never got cleared away and the lunch was slow in arriving).
PROS: nice alternative to chain hotels.

Safari West
Our family had a great time at Safari West. The animal jeep tour was fun - we saw lots of animals. Bring water on the tour. We staid the night in the African Safari Tents - this was lovely. They were nicely outfitted and very comfortable. It was fun hearing the animal sounds all through the night. Bring warm clothes it got cold during the night. The food at Safari West was excellent - so plan to have dinner there too.
PROS: fun family get away

Levitz Furniture
Levitz had a decent selection of furniture and they delivered what we ordered very rapidly. However, when we had a problem with the furniture we had multiple problems getting them to resolve the issue. The issue was never fully resolved.
PROS: good selection
CONS: bad service
