Humphrey's On The Delta
I was out in Antioch and I stopped off for Brunch. They did a great Eggs Benedict which is one of those things that I could never get right if I made from Heard about this place from Insider Pages and they did not disappoint. Will go again.
Lefty O'Doul's
This is another interesting place near Union Square. Interesting mix of regulars and people that wandered in from the cold Union Square area.
Went there for Santacon a number of years ago and they were cool with being over run.
Gold Dust Lounge
you will have a good mix of locals and tourists. Good live music and interesting drink specials. Whenever I have gone I have met interesting people from around the country.
I like going here on a cold August day.
O'Reilly's Irish Bar & Rstrnt
One thing I never understand is that when it is very busy (after a street festival etc) they have one poor soul working the bar and it takes twenty minutes to get a drink.
I am looking forward to the day when we are issued cards and they are self service.
A good place nonetheless.
Bubble Lounge
This place is quite fancy. I would not go on Friday as you have to rent chairs and pay a minimum. As I am not a big drinker right now this would not make sense. I have been there for special events and parties during the week and I liked it.
Maybe I should hide on Friday night as most of my reviews go on about crowds.
Johnny Foley's Irish House
The times that I was there they had a Beatles cover band which can never be bad because the Beatles are the best band ever.
Good selection of beers on draft. Crazy on St Patricks day. (every place is crazy on St Patricks Day)
Harry Denton's Rouge
I am not a night club type of person as I turn into a pumpkin at midnight which is akward.
Anyway I have been a number of times for Happy Hour and they have $2 drinks before 9 on Thursday and Friday which is hard to beat and you can go to Nicks Taco.
Mixt Greens
Over the last few months I have been working with a nutritionist and one of the best things to eat is baby spinach salad with meet. Other types of lettuce do not have the nutrition value as spinach.
Was walking on Samsone and saw this new salad place.
You pick out your items and they mix it in a bowl. Was quite full.
Lost and Found Saloon
I am cheap. Have a good late drink special and you will get many stars from me. They have a great selection of beers on tap.
Good live music as well.
They often will have monthly drink specials.
Pier 39
OK, I am not a Tourist but I will go here as a goof. Fun people watching with the tourist and their garish outfits. I find the food here to be overpriced and bland.
