Collingswood Book Trader

the title says it all, never pay full price for a book again at Collingswood Book Trader. I recently stopped in with some books I knew I would never read again, there were a few books I knew I wanted to get at the store but after walking around I ended up leaving with more books than I came in with. They have tons of books, mostly used, but in great condition, and you can trade your current books in for some new read. I got 6 books for the 10 that I traded in. Which for me is a good deal since I know I will never read them again.

Pet Place

The pet palace is great for picking up name and even non-name brand food (more expensive) along with some neat toys. Just like the big name pet stores you can bring your pet in and they even offer pet training classes for a fee. I really like to bring my dog here and watching him sniff out his new favortie toy. The best part is they have have samples of food for the dog!!

The staff is great and really cater to the dog.

Tutor Time Learning Ctr

Tutor Time in Voorhees offers great after school help in a variety of subjects for all levels of grade school. My cousin recently went here for extra help in algebra. He would go to class in the morning and get the extra help and then he participated in the Tutor Time Summer Time program. This way he didn't need to be picked up until the end of the day and was able to meet other kids his own age.

This was a great idea for him to get some extra help during the summer in algebra and do some fun things in the summer time program.

Chesterbrook Academy

My cousin goes to Chesterbrook and they provide a great learning environment. His teacher is very helpful in offering additional help and they have na on-site tutoring program just in case you need even more help.

The class size is very small compared to most schools, he doesn't have more than 15 kids in one class. They also provide various financial plans to the parents but it will payoff big time when its time to choose a college.

Dry Clean World

I took my clothes here once, just a pair of pants and a shirt to see what kind of work they did. Service took 2 days and the order was ready when promised. The pants didn't have a good crease in them, it was crooked and didn't extend the length of the pants. The shirt was clean but wasn't crisp, there were still crease marks on it where you don't want them. I now go to the $1.79 cleaners.

Colorich Custom Photo Lab

colorich did my wedding photography. overall they were easy to work with and provided all of the details up front. they took hundreds of photos of the wedding and reception. the only thing that wasn't made clear was how much they were going to charge per picture which quickly added up. I wished this was made clear up front as I would have had a better idea of what the total costs were going to be.

L A Nails & Electrolysis Std

My girlfriend has been going to LA nails for over 10 years and loves the work they do. She often doesn't know what new color to get so they are great at making recommendations and something right for the current season.

They also have done a great job on her nails for special occasions and weddings and were able to accomdate her friend's bridal party on a saturday morning before the wedding. Very helpful and accomodating.

Abbott Plumbing

I had abbot plumbing at my house when I was installing new pipes for my sink. They were at my house within 2 days and explained all the work they were doing and even allowed me to purchase the parts myself to save even more money.

They also provide a warranty on their work and conveinent payment plans.

South Jersey Therapy Center

I went to the SJ Therapy Center when I was recovering from ACL surgery. I went 3x week for 4 months. All of the trainers there are very friendly and helpful and they help you get the most out of your physical therapy.

They also give you some good fitness ideas to do while at home that really helped me at night when I was in pain.

You can also get your schedule set ahead of time so you don't have to keep making appts.

Golden Dragon Chinese Buffet

The Golden Dragon is a good place to go if your looking for a quick chinese food meal. They have over 30 items to choose from, however, some dishes look less appetizing than others (the shrimp was warm for example).

However, their eggrolls and noodles are very good. The price isn't bad either only $7.95 for all you can eat. The location is good too right off route 47.
