Hudson Jodi - Sedation Dental Care
This place has friendly service and a great atmosphere! There are many other things I can think of that are much more fun than going to the dentist, but Sedation Dental Care made the experience a not so bad one.
Belk
I dont know what has happed to Belk. Rumor has it that it used to be such a wonderful place to shop for Wedding China and gifts. Unfortunately, my husband and I relied on them to help us with our China. This is something we truly regret!
Most of the sales clerks in this department seemed incompetent. No one seemed to know how to do anything. Each time we left this department, we were so irritated we could hardly stand it.
For example, we ordered flatware a month before a wedding, and we were told that it would arrive in a few weeks. Unfortunately, we didnt receive it until four months later! I truly believe the only reason we have it in our possession today is because we drove them crazy with visits and phone calls for 2 straight months. Business should not have to be that way!
Another policy that Belk has blessed us with is the lowest price for 90 days rule. For example, if someone gives you a gift for your wedding, and it is not listed on your gift registry, nor do not have a gift receipt, you should forget about trying to return it. One example out of many; my husband and I received several cake domes for our wedding. We knew one came from Belk because there was a stack of them next to the register marked $19.00. When we took it to Belk, the sales clerk said that they would give us $2.85.
How is this possible you might ask? Well, Belks new policy states that if you do not have a receipt, or can prove that it was bought off your registry, they will only give you back the LOWEST amount that the item has been for the last 90 days! This also includes sales, coupons, or any other offers that they gave during this time. In my opinion, this is robbery! For a brand new glass cake dome, I could get more than $2.85 at a yard sale!
This is not just at the Belk in the Cary Town Center Mall, its everywhere. My parents live in the mountains, and frequently my mom will come out ranting and raving about the incompetence throughout the store. Some of these clerks dont even know how to check someone out at the register. They say to her, Come back later when the lady who knows how to work the machine gets off her lunch break.
For those of you who are not going to Belk to pick out China, but are going there to pick out gifts, I strongly suggest not buying something that is not on the registry. Thinking outside the box for a gift is great, but not in this store. If the person youre buying for cannot use the gift or they receive duplicates, they will not be able to get a full refund for your purchase.
In my honest opinion, Belk will not last much longer if they keep treating their customers the way they do now. Planning a wedding can be stressful enough. I suggest that if you want to decrease this stress significantly, you should order your China from somewhere other than Belk!
