Jade Greens is a unusual 9 hole golf couse, fairly short and great if your learning to play. They do have a great driving range and their rates are low.
Nordstrom's at Southcenter is the elite of clothing stores. The quality of merchandise, sales people and generous customer return policy if second to none.
The Paramount in Seattle is one of two places we typically go to see Broadway style plays. It's old charm and historical building is well preserved and elegant. The quality of theater is above most in Seattle.
United Rentals in Covington has been our rental store of choice for tools, equipment and supplies. Their rates are fair and equipment always is reliable.

Ski Mart in Bellevue is the place to go to look for the "higher end" used ski equipment. Often you can find demo skis/boots that have only been used one year. Pays to go early in the season.
Alpental at Snoqualmie Summit has what I think is the best steep terrain for a Washington State ski area. It is located so very close to Seattle, less than an hour and has very challenging runs. Snow conditions can be marginal at times.
