Hard to find places open late, and they sereve great food and great coffee. Also, they have T.V.'s so you can catch the game. Never had a problem with my credit card, though, I'd still go there, just head the other reviewers warning.
PROS: open late
CONS: service can be slow
The hot dogs are really good. They are not your ordinary type of meat; a little bit fancier. That being said, the price is great for what you get. Nice TV, but no seats.
CONS: no where to sit
I loved this restaurant for its variety on the menu. The pastas are good and so is the open faced turkey sandwhich. I believe its owned by the same owner of The Garden in Westwood. The lunch is busy with quite a few business and power lunches. Warning, the crowd can be a bit W.A.S.P. ish. If you don't know what that means, then the warning doesn't apply to you.
PROS: variety on the menu
For starters, this is a very upscale restaurant, so it is pricey. But it is a great example for an 'L.A.' dining experience from its asian fusion cuisine to the unique aquarium beneath your feet.
PROS: Garlic noodles and the crab
CONS: can be stuffy, but I think its part of their 'thing'
The food was delicious, and it was neat to have the guacamole prepared fresh at your table, but it is pricey. Though the atmoshphere and service does match the price, nothing really stands out for me to go back. Also, the crowd is a little 'aged'.
PROS: The food was good.
CONS: Pricey, no parking.
This place has the best banana cream pie I have ever tasted! That is the main reason why I go there, though I often get a full pie to go for guests or parties. Burgers are good and reasonable, not the best. I love their banana cream pie much more than their apple pie though.
PROS: banana cream pie (see above)
CONS: cramped space and there is only seating around a counter
The food was great, and they're open a little later than other restaurants in the area. I loved the chile colorado. Also, the atmosphere is wonderful and I received a serenade at my table the first time I ate their. Doesn't look like much on the outside, but it just makes you feel better about 'discovering' this gem. Average sit down prices for a sit down place, I think it was $10-$15 a plate. I wish there was better parking, though.
PROS: good food and open later
CONS: parking is valet
Well, these burgers are really only as creative as you are, but they certainly give you all the tools you need to build a really good burger. Shakes are good, but I'd save my arteries by staying away from their krispy cream desert 'burger'; way too rich. Realy friendly staff, too.
PROS: They do one thing, and they do it right.
CONS: Can get crowded, not a place for chilling out for a long period of time.
This is easily one of my favorite restaurants. The food is delicicous and the atmosphere really tops off the whole dining experience. This place is really nice at night when they light all of their candles.
PROS: Beautiful atmosphere and consistantly good food
CONS: The price is expensive, I spend $15 for a full meal with a fresh juice
