No joke:

It was Halloween.

So the waiter was a 'cowboy,' from the waist up. Below the belt, he was a furry, with yellow muppet-skin pants. A yellow horse's limp neck and head flopped about at his waist as he shuffled to and fro.

As I snapped a quick photo of the menu, he quickly snatched it from me -- grimacing -- and bowed low, the horsehead flopping and flapping vigorously. I could barely make out his sentence.

"The menu is copyrighted. I must ask you to leave."

Surely the sentence was part of his costume. I laughed and stirred the coffee into the milk.

But it happened again. The caricature horsehead again flung about as he bowed and insisted.

Ashamed at my very animated comeuppance by this half-perv, I turned a deep red shade.

As I left, a fairy-corseted and -winged waitress furtively apologized for his act.

I guess Ill be eating elsewhere.

PROS: coffee is pretty good.
CONS: odd definition of service

Astro Burger

face it -- burgers get a bad rep these days. often seen as 'ordinary,' 'hometown,' or 'plain.'

but not AstroBurger.

Why Astroburger? the location, the great staff, and the awesome space-age theme.

really, though, it boils down to 'atmosphere.' (sorry.)

PROS: great atmosphere and magenetosphere
CONS: none.
