Sizzler

Hayward, CA Steakhouses 10/05/06: 'Average'

I used to love going to Sizzler when I was a kid. The food seemed special to me and as children we always asked our parents to take us there for birthdays. Not quite as magical anymore.

PROS: Low prices for steak dinner
CONS: Average food and service

People always seem eager to help when I go there. The employees seem to want to give me a helping hand whenever I go buy something from them. Always glad to be treated special.

PROS: Low prices
CONS: Confusing with so many details to consider

When I called and asked what chance would I have of coming out of LASIK with 20/20 vision, the person said 100%. She said that all of Scott Hyver's patients see 20/20.

That didn't seem honest to me. I have seen patients of Scott Hyver that don't see 20/20.

PROS: Good Medical school (Harvard)
CONS: Residency and Fellowship not as prestigious

Dr. Turner was very honest and upfront about the procedure. I felt comfortable knowing that he had done thousands of procedures. He warned me of possible problems with LASIK.

PROS: Honesty, experience
CONS: Practice felt a little old to me.
