I have been seeing Christy Mahoney, one of the acupuncturists here, for over a year.
I appreciate the fact that she asks questions about my whole life, from my sleep to my diet to my mood, as well as using the traditional Chinese medicine diagnostic tools, pulse and tongue reading. I feel like every part of my life is important to my health and that I am being treated as a whole person when I receive a treatment.
And it works! Several of the problems I was having that my regular doctors couldn't help me with have resolved.
The office is located within a lovely wellness center as well.

I intially went in here just because it's down the street from where I work. But my husband and I been coming back for a year now because of the great service and fun atmosphere.
They are usually quite busy, but have been helpful in squeezing in appointments for my husband on a few occasions.
I'm always happy with my cut and the prices are not cheap, but not unreasonable either. The wine and cookies are a good touch

Evolution Wellness Center

I was not a huge fan of facials before I encountered Lisa, but she definitely changed my mind.
What I appreciate about her work is that it is so individualized and holistic. She evaluates all the products you are currently using to see if they are helpful for your skin. If they are, she doesn't try to sell you anything new. If they aren't, she matches her products to your skin. And the products are full of really great pure ingredients, essential oils, clays, etc. They were the first products I ever used where I can feel and see my skin getting better every day.
Also, Lisa is very good at the whole poking and prodding part of the facial. She really will stop if it hurts!
Lisa has training in other holistic fields as well and is interested in you as a whole person, which I appreciate.
