Planet Nissan
I did a lot of homework before buying a vehicle, and only bought it from Planet Nissan because they had the Nissan model I was looking for. I was pleased with the product I bought, but the lying salesman, and deceptive, manipulative sales and finance personnel made the deal a miserable experience. I'm glad I could afford to pay for the vehicle outright to ensure these cheats couldn't make more money off of me, but them wanting me to sign a "back up contract" (with ripoff financing, an increased sales price and inflated monthly payments) left a foul taste in my mouth. The legality of this practice is questionable, and Planet Nissan couldn't produce anything written to say that its back up contract would be null and void if the original contract stipulations aren't honored. This amounts to a deceptive business practice, which can be used to screw you big time! My advice: schedule an entire day to go over all documents they want you to sign. Be prepared to walk away from the deal if there is something you don't like, and don't ever sign anything they could use to twist to their advantage. Don't get yourself in a situation where you are desperate to buy a vehicle from them. Also, when reading reviews please remember that dealerships have gotten wind that web sites like this exist, so encourage their employees (under false names) to write glowing reviews about their performance. A positive note: of all the Nissan dealerships in Las Vegas, Planet Nissan was my top pick. If you go to Douglas, Desert or United Nissan, your experience will be a hell of a lot worse. (What does that say about car shopping in Las Vegas? Don't ever consider Towbin Dodge- Chop is the absolute King of Crooks!)
