My husband enjoys shopping at Acme bakery for the freshest baked goods. Every morning fresh muffins, bagels, and donuts permeate the air as you walk through the door. You have a choice of self service or ordering directly from the bakery.
Every type of bread, rolls, muffins, cakes, cookies etc. are available. You can also order birthday cakes to your specifications at a reasonable price. They always have a discount if you carry the Acme card, signing up for the card takes less than five minutes which will help you with cents off.
We purchased a large ladder, chainsaw, hedge trimmers, tree trimmer both large (long and small), and an eye glass kit. I was amazed at the prices! We saved forty percent on the entire purchase.
The employees were knowledgeable, friendly, and jovial. There were very few other patrons in the store as two major chains are less than a half mile away. I remember Mohler True Value from my teen years and wonderfully surprised to still see them in business.
Check frequently for in store savings that are not advertised in the ads. Excellent store.
I have my mortgage with Chase and very satisfied with the services I have received. When the stock market took its biggest plunge Chase contacted me to find out if I would like to refinance, update, or add services.
It made me feel more confident with Chase, they even offered an incentive to change all of my banking over to Chase. Although I declined it had nothing to do with the service I already receive from them.
How often has your mortgage company called to check up on you to see if they can get you a better finance rate? Give them a shot, awesome employees.
Clean, friendly, and fast service. I have managed to cut my grocery cost by more than one third of what I usually pay at the larger grocery chains.
They also sell the largest green cloth bags in the area. The prices are less than the store brand products of other establishments. The frozen foods are name brand, but sell for up to two dollars less than other grocers.
I recommend everyone check out Aldi because our economic outlook is rather poor leaving most of us looking at tight budgets. Make sure you take your green friendly bags from other stores as you have to bag your own groceries, but the savings is well worth it.
I took two pairs of pants into the Greentown drop-off center for Blair's cleaners last Tuesday and was told to pick them up on Thursday. They were not ready on Thurs, Fri, Sat, or Monday.
Finally today we contacted the main office and I spoke with management at Blair's cleaners on Market Ave. I was met with inept rudeness when I asked if I would receive a discount; his response and I quote "No discount, the employees at the outreach center did not understand policy. So, too bad I don't know what to tell you except I will have them sent over today."
I would not recommend using this establishment when there are other options in the area. I will always remember big names do not always mean better service. The small town businesses will now get all of my dry cleaning business. Lesson learned at a costly $34.
This store is well organized, clean, and the service is great. They often have sales on chips, cola, and ready made coffee products. This particular store has a reward card center for each purchase; if you do not have a computer at home you can directly swipe your reward card in the store and get your reward points. They carry fresh donuts from Krispy Kreme that is daily delivered, various luncheon foods, maps, and urgent care over the counter medications in single and multipack. If you get the chance check it out!
We made a small purchase from Heavenly Hams this past Christmas because I was just too lazy to cook for everyone. The store was hectic so I am not sure the review will be a true day to day evaluation of the store.
The prices are unreal and high $5.59 - $7.99 per pound for ham. Although I did not like the prices I spent $80 for a ham, the family was thrilled with the taste but I was not about to tell anyone what spent.
The store is clean, smells awesome, the employees are wonderful!
The store is not clean, and there are no employees to help you if you have a problem finding something. I had the misfortune of buying spoiled hamburger from this establishment and when I complained I was not offered a refund, but I was offered more hamburger.
Easy parking since there are not many store left in the Meyers Lake Plaza where Save A Lot is located. The prices are good, like any other establishment you can tell the prices have increased over the past few years even at Save A Lot.
I would recommend only buying canned goods, some of the frozen meats you can tell have been thawed at one time and refrozen but the way it clumps in the package.
I enjoying going to Petsmart, it is my preferable pet store. They have a far larger variety of pet products than does most other stores that are similar. My pet also enjoys being able to ride in the cart! It is a pleasant experience, many values can be found.
You seriously need to watch yourself if you are a pet lover because it is really easy to rack up a large bill if you have picked up twenty little objects you feel your pet would enjoy. If they are anything like my little Mr. Watts there are not too many toys he did not find he liked.
The only draw back was not being able to find booties in his size, he is a Chihuahua between the normal size and a teacup. Even the small size did not fit him, and the tag I bought is far too heaving for his little neck to hold up. It may sound strange but for smaller dogs I have chosen to buy some cat supplies.
They offer cleaning, and tailoring to your needs. I was a little disappointed at the cost compared to what I had spent at other cleaners. The shop is clean and friendly. The cost of hemming two pair of pants is $26, for me I think that is a little steep, but my Mother felt it was a fair price since she could no longer do her own sewing. The work was flawless so I have to give them their kudos for that.
