This was probably the first super market in Redmond, because they're right downtown, whereas all of the other markets are on the outer edges of town (like Safeway and Albertson's, which used to be Wagner's). They still have that small, home-town feel, especially with the employees. But that also reflects in the selection of what they offer, which is why I don't shop there and why I had to give them only a 3 star rating. However... you will be hard pressed to find a better bakery in Redmond. I love getting donuts here, because they are simply the best. Be warned, however, that their bakery is NOT open on Sundays! I went there one Sunday morning, hoping to get some of the best donuts in town, only to find that they were closed.
This really is the first "one-stop shop" in Redmond, which makes it worth going to for some people. The selection is usually pretty good, especially in the produce department. Prices tend to be higher than anywhere else in Redmond, though, which is why I stopped shopping here. Also, from the times I've called them, I usually end up on hold for a long time (after which, it forwards you to their front desk, as if you are a new caller). Speaking of which, the number listed here is for their jewelry department (they have direct line phone numbers for each specfic department, which is nice, unless you end up on hold and forwarded back to the front desk). The number to their front desk, by the way, is 504-3100, unless you actually want to call their jewelry department....
