I'm not sure who Jean W. is, and I don't care, mostly because she's wrong.
Shanghai Express is not authentic Chinese food, but this is North Carolina, not China. I've been to Hong Kong, is it that good? No but, I didn't have time to fly to Kowloon for supper either.
Shanghai Express is fast, and not all that expensive. They usually say 30 to 45 minutes for delivery. I live on Avent Ferry Rd. near Gorman St, they are usually here in 20 to 30 minutes. For 2 full dinners with soup and appetizers we pay less than $20. There are in fact better Chinese places, but not nearby, and none deliver.
