We booked a town car to pick us up at home and take us to the airport for our vacation. I had a long conversation with the reservationist about how we were going on vacation and where we were going. She completely understood the purpose of us using their service and how we lived in Bellevue and were flying to Florida for vacation.
When it was time for our car to come to take us to the airport they didn't show up. We called and they said the car was waiting for us at the airport. They had our reservations backwards so it was trying to pick us up at the airport the day we were trying to leave home to get to the airport. We only live 25 minutes from the airport so we told them to just turn that car around and we'd be fine. They assured us a car would be to pick us up in 30 minutes. An hour later no car had arrived and to top it off they stopped answering their phone! Apparently we were bothering the operator!
My husband backed our car out of the garage and loaded our luggage into it and just as he finished the towncar pulled up almost 1 1/2 hours late! We had to transfer all our luggage and babyseat again, the driver drove 80 miles an hour to the airport, we got yelled at by the airline clerk for showing up so late, we literally ran through the airport at full sprint with an infant and ran onto the airplane at the last possible minute.
Quite the way to start a relaxing vacation! What bothers me more than this horrible company getting our reservation wrong was the fact that they stopped answering the phone after we called a couple times to check status! The limo driver told us the operators work 24 hours a day so there was no reason we should have not gotten an answer. Horrible, horrible people. Do not use this company!!
To top it off after being assured by the limo driver and the operator that we would not be charged for that leg of the trip they went ahead and charged us and added in the full tip. By the time I found this on the credit card bill the next month I felt too beat up to even fight it.
