Would give 5 stars but, there weren't too many styles to choose from, but still I found a few that I really liked. Ask for Saralynn she's really pleasant and nice.

Urban Outfitters

I always love all the clothes at U.O. but, usually in SF or LA the store is always completely a disaster area because people who shop here make a big giant mess! Everything is always scattered. But, the one here on Santana row is pretty neat and clean, I don't know how they do it, but it is, and I as a frequent guest appreciate it. Plus the employees are all nice, and you'll never see them chit chatting amongst themselves, they take their job seriously, unlike other clothing stores where you'll see employees talking away or even flirting w/each other, which is not professional what so ever!

Rose Furniture

I bought a bedroom set which was all together around $2000 plus delivery which was $100. There is a bed frame (no mattress)mirror w/dresser, and two night stands. The owner was insistent on how my taste was so expensive, making me believe that I was buying state of the art furniture. Well, my one of the drawers on the dresser has fallen off the hinges because the screw came out of the side where the hinges hold on to. Other than that, it's still kind of okay condition for 1 1/2 years. The thing that upset me was, that I overpaid. My friend went to the flea market and saw the exact same thing, except it comes with a chest and two lamps for $1000.00 out the door and free delivery. I didn't believe her, so I went there and checked it out, and sure enough it was the EXACT SAME as mine!!!!!! This is just wrong, you live and you learn I suppose, don't buy things until you first shop around.

KSY CLOTHING Wholesale Company

Great and friendly customer service. I see a lot of people who shop here for their markets or liquor stores , they usually buy embroidered hats. The owners are helpful in finding you the right things to match your store's needs. I suggest coming here once a week in order to keep up with the new merchandise that they get in every week. I used to drive to LA every two weeks, but now I just go the KSY and go every week, I save time and money. It feels like that they are shopping for me, for free. Usually, a merchandiser whould costs me about $1,000.00 per month... now I save all that. Although sometimes this place sometimes charge .50-$1.00 more than LA, but I save much more money than driving to LA.

They only do wholesale, so they don't sell to the public.

Pasta Pomodoro

The food doesn't taste as fresh, and it may be due to them giving you cold bread. They've changed the type of pasta they use for their "healthy chicken pasta" (which is what I will usually get ) or I get the "frutti di mare" But, frutti di mare tatse pretty much the same, but not exactly. Overall, its okay italian food for the price.

Midas Auto Service Experts

Although they did, probably reccomend changing something that didn't need to be changed right away, but they told me that I should change it all at the same time to get it out the way. I payed a total of 300 dollars for brakes that haven't had any problems or sounds since 3 years ago. My brakes are great. The owner was there and friendly. I know they are good because I've gotten my brakes fixed on another car from the dealership, the price was around the same, but my brakes didn't last long and I had to go back few months later because they started to squeak. If you get your brakes fixed from someone that isn't good with brakes you'll have a problem I think. Anyway, they are right "trust the Midas touch".

She helped me when two other doctors couldn't, including a doctor from Standford hospital. She will take the time to talk to you and get to know you and what you need.

Chef Lee's Mandarin House

The food is salty and you can taste the MSG. The meat is questionable, because 10 years ago they were closed down for serving pigeons. The owners did change however.
So, I did go there once because my friend came into town and wanted to eat some chinese. I would usually go to Cathy's in Monterey but, the last time I went there, there was foreign pieces of food in my chicken fried rice.

Anyway, we ordered food, it was very NASTY TASTING, but I had ordered a to go for my husband at the same time that we ordered our food. Once I tasted the food I tried to cancel my order, but the waitress told me that I couldn't because they already made it. I was confused as to why they would make my to go at the same time I our food that we are eating there was made. (aren't they suppose to make it in the middle or end of our meal?). Anyways, I told her no I didn't want it and then the owner came out with a pissed off look on her face. I told her that I didn't like that the food tasted too much like MSG, and didn't want my to go, and she basically said, too bad. So, as I was paying at the register the waitress told me that I'd have to pay for everything. The owner saw me paying and came and stood behind the waitress (who was pretty nice about the situation and apologized for us not liking the food). The owner hovered behind the waitress as I reviewed my bill, and just had the most pissed off look on her face. I said I'm only paying for what we ordered here. I will not take the to go and will not pay for it. The owner basically pushed the waitress out the way and her face turned red as she said, "You ordered!!! YOU PAY!! I said , NO it's nasty and I won't! So I layed $50 (which just our meal alone was $47) I left the waitress a $10 tip, and I hope that she got to keep it .

Protop Nails

This place is pretty busy and most of the technicians are good at what they do, but it doesn't look like a place that is sanitary. I think that there is a high probability of catching some sort of nail fungus. Just watch out, because you never know. All in all your nails WILL look good, but you may catch something.

Magic Nails

My two friends that did go ended up going to see a doctor as well.

Friend #1: She was a regular there for about 1 year. Her acrylic nails got fungus, because the doctor whom had to remove her whole nail found that there was a seasame seed stuck between her pinky nail and the acrylic. She said her nail was green.

Friend #2: Had gotten one pedicure, before my other friend found out she had fungus/infection. Any how, she ended up getting toe fungus and her tow turned blackish brown and spread to one other toe. She got some pills from her doctor to clear it up.
