Nestled in a quaint neighborhood of Brooklyn is comfy and cozy Spa 4 U. Walking into Spa 4 U is like entering a remote waterfall forest-- you are pampered from head to toe with the latest technology-- lazer hair removal, lazer acne treatments, beauty parties, facials and massages for everyone. Come for Mother's Day, Father's Day!
Don't believe me? Here are some other reviews from New York Citysearch!
"Cleanest spa/salon I have seen in all of Brooklyn yet. Owner genuinely cares for clients in a personal and professional manner. New products are exciting. New treatments are fun. This spa is like Heaven on Earth!"
"The very best for your money! Very cozy and privite space. The staff is so freindly, you will never want to leave! Relaxing atmoshere, great service, a mini vacation! Everyone should visit and it's right here in Bensonhurst!"
"After going to numerous spa's in the city, this one by far is the best!! Best waxes, that are awesomely priced and virtially pain-free!! As for massages, and facials it is the most relaxing and comforable atmosphere!! Definatly recommended!!"
"This spa is absolutely wonderful and the treatments are reasonably priced, especially for the one-on-one attentive service you receive. The staff is warm & friendly and they strive to transport you to a state where you can truly relax and unwind. With spas popping up all over the city, this is one worth trying. The Micro-Current facial made a huge difference in the appearance of my skin, refreshed & renewed - I looked like I had been on vacation!! I look forward to going again & making SPA 4U part of my monthly gift to myself."
"Great Facials!! Great Massages! The Owner is wonderful and friendly! Definetly recommend this spa!"
Every Saturday night, with few exceptions, my family and I visit Pho Phu Huong, Pho meaning noodles in Vietnamese and Phu Huong meaning something else cool. The restaurant has a fire-red and yellow sign beneath the D train bridge in 86th Street. Go for a full night of fun, date, grab a bite here and hop on the train to nearby Coney Island before it goes bye-bye forever.
You may think every Vietnamese restaurant in NYC is the same-- not Phu Huong. To the back is a big screen TV playing the latest, hippest music videos. A cutie in the front makes all your drinks from watermelon smoothies to avocado shakes. Ever had a kumquat-club soda? Or delicious French-Viet iced coffee? How about a three-colored icey?
The waiters are all friendly and helpful. The food is affordable, delicious, and in great portions-- try their classic number 3, a Dac Biet (special) noodle soup with beef broth, noodles, and delicious sliced meat. Try their spring rolls, or vinegar fondues in the wintertime. My personal favorites are the beef cubes fried rice, golden delicious rice and medium-rare beef cubes, as well as their spicy and sour salmon fish soup and their egg pancakes! The seating is comfy, the atmosphere is great, bathrooms are clean...
Come to Pho Phu Huong and become a regular like me! :)
Across Chinatown, there are many Hong Kong style cafes, mainly a well-known one is XO. In Brooklyn, there is Hong Kong Cafe and now on the same street though many blocks away, is not Kowloon Bay but Kowloon Cafe.
Want to have a girl's night or day out? Walk through 86th street and have your hair and nails done. Then when you're a little hungry or thirsty, give Kowloon Cafe a try. The prices are fair, the food is delectable, and if you ever wanted to try shark fin soup but don't want to have a shark killed for it, try their Kowloon Cafe soup, with mock-shark fin made from cartilaginous-like noodles. Tasty mmm.
Like chicken wings? Try their Coke-a-Cola chicken wings or my personal favorite, salt and pepper wings. They have breakfast specials, a plethora of foods to choose from, and a wonderful selection of beverages from Thai Ice teas to Strawberry green tea with tapioca pearls. (aka bubble tea)
Finally, though the front of the restaurant leaves one wondering, the interior is hip and well-designed, soothing to the eyes in well-matched shades of beautiful apple green. To the back is a strange display of Gundam machina and various ornaments from Japan. Mind you, this is a Hong Kong/Chinese restaurant with various Western-style dishes as well. Ever think you could have linguini with white clam sauce under seven dollars in a "Kowloon Cafe?" Well now you can. Take the trip, it's worth it. Very Tao and uptown style-esque, and right now there's a 20 percent special! Hurry before it's too late!
No other spa in Brooklyn New York looks and feels like Pretty Spa-- step into royal China of the past and come out feeling refreshed and pampered from head to toes.
From the moment I stepped into Pretty Spa, I adored the design of the establishment and the friendliness of their professionals-- everyone wore smiles on their faces and I felt like royalty. I treated my husband and myself to a couple's spa, where we sipped sparkling mineral water, and relaxed amidst bubbles and rose petals. Afterwards, my husband got a makeover treatment with a gentleman's facial and my feet were treated to a sweet and delicious chocolate pedicure.
Valentine's Day is coming up and I definitely recommend Pretty Spa to couples. Pretty Spa offers nail treatments, hair, body, and massages. My daughter is addicted to their Acne Facials and my son loves their hot stone massage.
Pretty Spa has something for everyone in the family-- it is conveniently located between West 6 and West 7th on Kings Highway, a block away from the N train station.
Enjoy bliss and ultimate relaxation-- go to Pretty Spa today and see for yourself~
